What is weirdest thing that you have found under your couch?
We sweep under the couch every day.
I never know what I am going to find under there. Spoons and forks, a peanut butter jar, money (mostly pennies), socks and underwear (belonging to the boogers), toys.
So what is under your couch right now?
My cat and some twisty-ties. She loves those things
Probably cat-toys and dustbunnies.... Maybe mechanical pencils from when I draw there.
Once I found an empty condom package while cleaning... it was not mine. I was not pleased.
Cherry tomatoes & little creamer potatoes. One of my cats loves to steal "round foods."
One time we found underwear and it wasn't ours. That was a unique day.
(before anyone suspects Alex or me of being unfaithful, we got that sofa from my great uncle and it came with the house!)
Beyond that, mostly just cats.
I would have to say the oddest thing I found under my couch was a tampon *NOT USED, thank god* and it was not mine since it was obviously a different kind of brand. Otherwise, just the usual dustbunnies, cat toys and coins.
When I was six years old, my hamster went missing. After several days I found him under there. I wonder what he'd been eating.
And recently, I found cat vomit and had to move the couch to clean it up. That was disgusting.
Grapes.
My grandmother's cat is a terrible fruit thief. Luckily, she's too fat to get under the couch now. :)
When I moved out of my last place, we moved the couch (to get rid of it actually) and out came about 100 sparkly balls. I don't think I'd realized we'd even BOUGHT that many for the little fuzzy brats.
On Sunday I found a football (in addition to the usual dust bunnies, change, cat toys, and round fruits).
Back when my kiddies were small, I found lots of odd things under their beds if that counts. I remember two separate occassions in which I found a dried up hotdog and a chicken leg.
As for under our couch, I've found everything from empty drink bottles to nintendo ds games and shoes. Of course, I only clean under ours once per week.
I once had a cat who stole olive pits and saved them for later to bat around. The couch was very low and he couldn't get under there to retrieve the ones he'd batted. So every now and then we'd lift the couch and clean out his stash. He complained loudly as we threw them in the trash. I have no idea what the attraction was.
edited to add: stepping on olive pits in bare feet really hurts. Almost as much as stepping on one of Barbie's tiny high heeled shoes.
I once found a man I didn't know. I miss my misspent youth.

the only thing worse than a barbie shoe, IMO is a lego!
mainly under my couch i find Murph hairballs and shredded pieces of Murph's toys. and the occasional sock.
i once found the brand new armcovers to my moms 12yo couch.
i despise couches; i dont know why...maybe because 99% are hideous? i have a futon, no hiding.
I found HK...I made him a sandwich...he looked hungry. B said I couldn't keep him. I was sad.

So was I. :p
Under the couch? My Mother had my brother there for quite a while- may be under her latest couch in Missouri- his ashes, anyway. It was too expensive to put him in a plot and she wanted him near by. Also had the baby Jesus under our couch- the china type, gotten lost from a creche set.

Where can I see 1/8th or 1/6th of a pie or angel food cake?
This is the best way to picture a portion of pie or cake: Draw a circle to represent the circumference of the cake or pie (9" pie? 10" cake?... Read more
