Welcome Back Arm Muscles!!!!
I never realized that i lost so much muscle tone in the month and i half where i decided i only wanted to do cardio in the gym.
I notice my arm muscles are much more noticeable after just 2.5 weeks of free weight work (just 2x a week!).
So yay for strength training and healthy bodies!!! I hope I get some definition in my legs soon!!!
How long did it take everyone else to start seeing results from strength training?

my tricep muscles welcome your arm muscles back too. i'll never take them for granted again.
it took me 3 weeks to start to see some muscle, but i wasn't watching my diet so the fat came with it too. each body part sort of has its own agenda, but a couple of weeks is good. of course you then have to start working a little harder & harder to continue to see results.
This gives me so much hope! I just started working out again (after a long hiatus. woops ) and i definitely need to do something about my arms. thanks guys! :)
I have been having a good time admiring my "pipes" - since they're actually pipe-shaped instead of blobby wobbly bits :P It's been about 3 weeks, and while they aren't rock-hard, it's nice to at least see some definition :)

Mine are far from rock hard, but seeing that musle pop up when i work out or move a certain way is awesome... Its nice to see a little something when my arm isn't flexed too!!!
Just last night i was stretching and felt some nice muscles on the backs of my legs, yay!
my fiance caught me flexing in the mirror, i cant help it. i've also been flexing my ab muscles. he course finds it hilarious, non stop teasing.
my legs are very very very very slowly getting there. im hoping by next summer they'll make me prouder. (just being realistic)
LOL iv been caught checking my self out in the mirror b4, lol I was made fun of in my house for like a week, but it defiantly feel good when you look and see something you didn't see before =], Iv been working on my lats and they just started showing up. I <3 my 'wings' lol .
My legs are very slowly progressing also - i'm dying to see what my thighs would look like without 2 inches of fat on top!

Your husband should consider himself lucky. I make poses all day long and say "HEY LOOK" I'm sure he wishes I'd silently admire myself alone in the bathroom or whatever

thanks spiro. actually im trying to upload a pic i took of myself so you can all marvel my shoulders (of course im flexing & holding my stomach in
). too much effort though to take a pic of yourself tho, not sure when ill do that again.
EDIT: oh wait, the stupid batteries ran out. to be continued....
I flex and say "Hey Look!" to my boyfriend and he just reaches out and sqeezes my arm and laughs when my muscles collapses as he squeezes. It looks more solid than it feels!
