wohoo i get to make the first post.

well im here because im looking to gain weight. i was 138 when i found this website a couple months ago and it really helped me organize my diet. i gained a few pounds and i was 149 i week ago. but i got sick and lost 5lbs. anyway, i want to be 160 by the time july comes around. im pretty sure i can do it. i gotten used to eating a lot but i still eat healthy, most of the time. i joined this group because i liked the name. I WANT A PERFECT BODY TOO. whatever that may be. im an RN and hope soon ill get my nurse anesthetist licence. love working on my computer and i have a fishtank that i spend thousands of dollars on, otherwise im pretty normal for the most part.

I have so much to achieve. I was 50kgs (110lbs) a year back and now I'm 58kgs(128lbs). My ultimate goal is to reach 66kgs(145lbs) by the end of this year May. I've realized  from this site that my Calorie intake is far less than expected. I'm happy that CC can guide me to achieve my goal. Like everybody dreams, I too dream of a perfect body, 6-pack abs with excellent body tones. Another aim to become skin-perfect. I have realized nutrition is an important fact for all my goals. I love to dance in my free time. And I really enjoy helping friends to achieve their goals.

What is your calorie intake like and how much do you exercise?  I work towards a deficit every day....I would think you would want to work towards a surplus.  You are welcome to my extra 5 lbs...even 10  LOL.

Hello,

1. History with weight loss/gain: have been in the range 47-56kgs most of my adult life that is until I got a sedentary job an went up to almost 80kgs. I'm 54kgs now and have been maintaining since autumn 2007
2. History with Calorie Count: started using it in january 2007, basically I lost 15kgs on my own and another 10 or so using the site

3. Reason for joining this group: exchanging opinions and ideas, maybe to pick up some tips and tricks on muscles and maintenance
4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests: Job - computer and networking technician, no kids, I own a cat, I love computer games, swimming, rollerblading, trekking, walking in general, metal music and live concerts, etc

Welcome Dkn! Hope you enjoy the group!

Hi,

I'm from Edmonton. I use this site on and off again. I got to a max of 175lbs after university. I then was motivated by my sister and ran a marathon getting down to 145lbs. I then got into bodybuilding/figure and am now 132lbs @18%BF.

I joined cause I thought there may be women in here who think about competeing in figure and might want to share ideas, training, nutrition etc ideas.

I'm a musician in the military and I'm soon to be married. No pets. Hobbies are reading, movies, gym, and unfortunately cooking!

Hi Norris and welcome.  Wow figure competing?  Excellent for you.  I toy with the idea of competing and then waffleon it.  I couldnt compete against the young ones, but if they had one for us older gals, that wouldbe perfect.

Glad to have you part of the group!

Hello.

1. Overweight in high school (200+), lost almost 100 lbs to date.

2. Joined to keep track of what I eat and monitor my weight as well as be apart of a community.

3. Try something new.

4. Im an art student in Florida going to school for photography. I absoulty love jazz music and cooking. I enjoy entertaining and making people laugh....(heh, i feel like I am writing a personal ad).

Hi everyone. Thanks, Sameer, for inviting me to join the group!

1. Weight history: I was an overweight child, then suffered from anorexia through most of my teen years. I gained enough to reach a healthy weight of 115 at the age of 18, then lost some of it again in the last few years. Now I maintain about 102, but it varies a little.

2.History with CC: I joined in December 2008 and have gotten into running again after CC got me motivated to do so - CC helps me to focus on overall health, and not just the number on the scale.

3.Reason for joining this group: Who doesn't want a perfect body???

4. Some interesting details: I am a single mom of a soon-to-be 4-yr-old, I'm finally finishing college, where I am a math ed major (I will teach high school math), I have a twin sister, and I work part-time at a pub.

1. Weight history: I've been overweight since I was a child but I was always engaged in some sort of sports, so I looked pretty much ok with all the muscles.. Then I went to high school n had no time for sports so I gained even more weight. After school I got drafted n girls always gain weight in the army -_- But then I got Crohn's disease and realized I had to take care of myself.

2.History with CC: I began losing weight a year ago and thus far lost 15 kg. First I was under the supervision of a nutritionist but then I decided to try and lose some weight on my own. I joined CC a few months ago and lost approx. 3 kg here (and counting :) ).

3.Reason for joining this group: Heh, I want a pefect body too. I'm at my ideal weight but my bf% is too high.

4. Some interesting details: I'm 20 yo and this Sept-Oct will be begining my first year in University. I was accepted to Edinburgh College of Art and to Bezalel - Jerusalem Art Academy (I wanna study art so I can illustrate books). I would love to go study in Scotland but right now I dunno where I will go, since Bezalel is cheaper.. Damn this crisis!

Hi All Smile

so, the figures (excuse the oun!) height 5 foot. 132 lbs. goal weight 100 lbs.

joined cc a while a go and lost reached 125lbs then moved out of my house to a new flat with no internet, 2 months later back to 130 lb Cry which really highlighted the need to have an organised way of calorie counting. So after moving home i am back on the net, and back on cc.!!

i live in the harbour city of bristol, UK, am 28, and living with my folks again while deciding where to go and what to do, (and save some cash!)

I'm an actress, love to make greetings cards, reading, watch movies, go to the cinema, surfing, and my pride and joy- my 1972 vw beetle.

Greetings from California!

I just joined this "Perfect Body" club at the request of Shameer...thanks for the invitation.

So, let's see...I have never had any issue with weight loss or gain...I have been practicing sports since I was 7...from Gymnastics, to Handball, to Karate, to Competition Kayaking, to Soccer in College.

I joined CC a few months ago...I was just browsing the net and found it, and then realized that there are lots of good things on this site...so I joined.  Then, today when I checked my email, I saw Shameer's invitation, and I thought to myself...WHY NOT? Everybody loves and wants to have a Perfect body, right? Also, I thought that this would be a perfect club, where I get more info about other people's workouts, nutrition, and if possible, to connect and make new friendships.

Now, about myself...hmmm...let's see....I just finished my Masters in English, so now I need to find a job as a college professor...YAY...especially with this economy...lol Tongue out. I go to the gym 5 days a week, and I use the weekends for hiking and travel. I am addicted to photography, hiking, traveling, exercising, kayaking, and swimming. As for pets, I have two beautiful parakeets.

Howdy, and greetings from a Texan in Japan

1. No real history with weight loss or gain. Always had a slim, lean build since I was a kid and was very active (although unhealthy as a youngster!). Since the start of college started becoming more and more healthy and working out more and more for the past 4 years.

2. Only used Calorie Count for the past few days, as difficult as it is to compare to foods that I readily get in Japan sometimes

3. Joined this group because I suppose...I want a perfect body! As a person who likes to be active, and especially as a martial artist, I think that physique is very important, and want to reach the top. Hopefully I can find some finer tips on eating and working out in here to get me just that little more and help me stay there (since until now I've just been going on common logic or some hearsay)

4. As for myself, I'm 22, almost 6'1" and sitting at about 172, 173 pounds. I just recently moved to Japan as an English teacher (for the time being). Love to be active, although havent been able to go to the gym as often as back in the states, so I end up doing a lot of home circuit training. I love martial arts, sports (tennis, basketball, college football), and people.

Hey!  my name is Kat. I have been on CC since may of 2008.

I developed an eating disorder as I was about ten pounds away from my weight goal in August of 2008 and, after losing a bit more gained the majority of it back.

I am now ready to begin losing weight safely again and am really excited about it! I started two weeks ago and have lost approximately two and a half pounds. o W o

I eat healthily most of the time but still have problems with keeping my skin clear and other sort of external stuff. I thought this group seemed interesting.

I am a university student as of a month and a half ago and am loving it! I love the Japanese language and culture and want to major in Japanese language. I want to minor in teaching English as a second language so that I can teach there. =) I also love art and want to make my own comics.
