Hi everyone!!! I guess I will start!
1. History with weight loss:
I was always the super skinny girl, never had to watch what I ate or exercise until my 20s, when the weight started piling on. Because I had always been thin I didn't know how to diet successfully. I really piled on more weight in my early 30s. When I turned 33 I wanted to have a great year but I was 20-30 lbs heavier than where I am comfortable and super unhappy.
Then it just changed .... I was tired of being unhappy. My whole perspective changed ... I wanted to be happy and needed to make it happen for myself.
I lost some weight just due to the bare bones basics of healthy eating I already knew about, but wanted to lose more and wanted to be able to sustain it.
Hence how I found CC and then my education started. I learned that healthy food can be delicious and you can still have your treats. I learned the meaning of calories and how much I should be eating. The weight slid off.
I lost 30 lbs in 6 months and have kept it off for a year now. I completely changed my attitude towards food. I educated myself about health.
I have never felt better.

Hi everyone!
I'm 36yrs old - single mom (Joseph, age 10) and caretaker of my mother who has a mystery illness and chronic pain and my 90 yr old blind/deaf grandma AND a 4 yr old mean cat named Lucy and my destructive, rambunctious 1 yr old Lab/Whippet mix.. Cadie. I'm an executive secretary as well so there you go... I take care of everyone but myself!
I let myself go.. I think partly to ward off men but that's a whole other bag of beans... bottom line is I gained an enormous amount of weight. My highest was 290lbs and I was misreable!
I found cc in 2006 and lost 65lbs but fell off the wagon for a year and gained 30lbs back. I got motivated again in mid-september of this year and have since lost 22 lbs. Coming on CC daily helps so much and I'm so grateful that it's here.
The reason I'm here is because I am a TV and movie junkie. The only show that I watch religously is Survivor. I've been a fan since Season One with naked Richard Hatch.
Hello, My name is Kristi. I am 20 years old and have been married for almost two years. My husband and I try to stay pretty active, but with winter weather being what it is we don't get out much. When I was in high school I played basketball 5days a week and seemed to stay fit. But after high school, I got lazy and gained. I have been losing weight for a lil over a year. I have lost 28lbs but have gained 3lbs back. I feel like I have been doing a good job. but have been having motivation problems lately.
I have only been with calorie count since Nov. I was in need of some ideas and support with my weight loss and basically what I ate. I still use the food calorie counts. I was needing to check out some modivation.
I joined the group because it's up my ally. I love reality shows....like Survivor, biggest loser, big brother, and then I am totally into all the csi's, ncis, criminal minds, desperate housewives, house, etc.

Hey Y'all! My name's Lee, Lydia Lee to be exact but I go by Lee. I'm from Auburn, Alabama but now I live in Panama City, FL. I'm trying to lose 100 lbs and since being back on Calorie Count I've lost 14. I've always been a big beautiful girl but health reasons are causing me to change that.
I joined Calorie Count about a year ago but then gave up on losing weight but now I have to have back surgery and need to do this. Since coming back I have been very diligent at losing weight by eating healthy foods and exercising.
I joined this groupbecause I'm a reality tv junkie. I love almost all reality except The Bachelor/Bachelorrete. All Survivor, Big Brother - even after dark, Amazing Race, and anything on MTV or VH1. I also enjoy tons of other programs like the Showtime and HBO series' and certain network shows.
I've been divorced for 9 years and live alone with my two cats. I'm on disability for my various health issues but worked in the food service industry as a manager and chef for over 20 years. Besides watching TV I love to go to the beach, read, anything to do with Snoopy, and working with polymer clay. I also love boating and riding motorcycles but don't have either.
I was adopted and found my birth mother and found out I had siblings. I searched and found my youngest sister about 9 years ago - the day before I went in for chemo and radiation treatments. She and my neice and nephew were my motivations for beating cancer.
My favorite web sites besides calorie Count are Joker's Updates during Big Brother seasons and Silly Hamsters for all other reality show updates. I look forward to chatting with you all!
