hi, i'm kelly, 17, and so stoked we've gotta group like this...

i've been battling an eating disorder for 3 years now, and am allllllways growing and learning, looking for support. i've faced the worst and am so excited for what's to come...

i've been a calorie-count member for a loong, long time and am now using it to help me =)

i'm here for anyone battling any issues or in need of any support. especially since i'm more than open to whatever comes to me.

Hey what's up everybody. I'm Joe and im 18. when i graduated high school back in June 1 was 240 and now in September im 275. Im new to this calorie counting thing. The health center at my college got me turned on to it. I needed to do something about my weight. This is the biggest i've ever been and i hate it.

Hey im Stacy.

Ive been currently dealing with an eating disorder this summer and starting to get some treatment.

Ive been part of calorie count for about 2 weeks to try and help me seeing that school has started and keeping up with my calorie count has helped me.

I'm really just out here looking for advice and maybe some people who are going through or have been through what im going though. just to have people to talk to about it.

Hey, I'm Courtney

I'm currently dealing with an eating disorder and have been for about a year now, my family and I are now starting a treatment process.

I've been a part of calorie count for exactly a day now.

I decided to join this group because I looking for advice from people who are in my shoes, or have been in my shoes, and support!

I'm a dedicated vegan, and have been for quite some time, and no I didnt do it to get thin, I did for my love of animals.

hey everyone,

my name is nancy and i DO NOT have an eating disorder, which seems like to be the latest and greatest trend, as i can see here.  i know that some of you truly do suffer from one, and some of you only think you Want to.

i simply acknowledge how insane the food industry is and how badly the american culture surrounds itself in food.  it's disgusting, and it makes me ashamed.

i am on calorie-count to make sure i never overeat, and to keep track of the calories i've burned.

i'm about six pounds away from my goal weight!!

write me any time you'd like to chat!

Hey guys, I'm Brenda.

I've never really had a problem with any sort of eating disorder, other than the occasional binge eating which I've had under control for quite a while now. I was pretty thin until about middle school, when I started to gain a lot of weight, probably because of the junk food I used to eat. Last year I dieted for about a month and lost 15-20 pounds, but I gained some of it back because I did it by eating 1000 calories a day. Yeah, not good. I've been using CC for about three weeks and I love it. Its really helped me keep track of my goals and progress. As of now, I'm trying to lose about 5 pounds and replace it with muscle. I just want to be more fit in general and eat healthy. I joined this group because I'm hoping to find support and motivation from people my age. Uhhmm, other than that I really like running, cheerleading, reading, hanging out with friends and I work as a counselor for first graders in the summer.

feel free to message me anytime. :)

Hey everyone! I'm so glad that theres a group established for our age, being a teenager is incredibly tough especially in a society where the ideal body type is 6 foot something, 90 pounds. I experienced a small step in the direction of an ED, but prevented myself from continuing the destructive behavior. I'm pro healthy athlete, and completely against any ana or mia type ideologies. I just joined CC today =) and can't wait to get my life back on track. I look forward to meeting all of you and support you in any way that I can.

1. I was around 146 pounds for about 2-3 years and I really got fed up with being overweight. At first I started a healthy diet with excercise to help me lose weight but it transformed into restricting my calorie intake to an unhealthy amount. I became anorexic without being aware of it and ever since I've realised what I'm doing to myself, I have made it my primary goal to get my eating habits back to normal and mantain a healthy weight. It's still really hard for me and in no way am I close to being fully recovered. It's so hard to change your mindset but i'm trying as hard as possible. I'm the last person in the world you would expect to be anorexic and luckily I realised that I needed to change before anything got too bad. I am just so sick of my thoughts being 100% food related and am so looking forward to the change.

2. I joined calorie count because it has a great support system and plenty of advice.

3. I want to learn to mantain a healthy weight.

4. My name is Sara and I am fourteen(so close to 15) years old and i'm a freshman in highschool. I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian and I love anusara yoga. I have an immense passion for film and I hope to someday become a film director or screenwrite, or luckily both! Send me a message anytime, I'd love having someone to talk to.

3. I joined this group to find other teens that have gone through an eating disorder or are compulsive exercisers, to find advice or just to know im not the only one going through this. I want to join the cause to get healthy!

4. I am a very competitive athlete. i swim for school and love to run. SWIMMING RULLS!Tongue out. Things have gotten allot better sense i have decided to pursue a more healthier  life style. My athletic performance has benef ited from it too! :) . I also love to create new dishes. I really enjoy to cook and bake. My goal is to compete in the Olympics one day and to run a marathon. Hey my name is Anna, im 14, i weigh a bit over 110lbs, not that much but still need to lose weight and get abs, ive been with this calorie count thing since my mom told me about it, so far i lost about 5lbs which is good for me, and im trying to get to about 98lbs, i know that seems small but its cuz im not so tall..5ft tall to be exact..and i dont want to seem short and fat so im trying to lose about 10-15lbs..I exercise everyday, like running around 6am from my house to the library (since its kind of far) and back, i do those retarded but good workout dvds lol..Im not that much into sports but i do contribute in them at school and when with my brothers and sisters (8bro's & 5sis') lol.. my family is big and most of us like to work out or go do fun activities, my oldest brothers Leo,21,Jay,19, and Angel 17 all have kids, they are young i know but sometimes they bring them along and we all have fun. Angel's son is almost 3yrs old and whenever we bring him he makes me chase him all over the field. Its fun and a great exercise:) haha well thats most about me.and my family lol. But my goal is to be about 96-98lbs. or at least have nice abs by June:) When I see my bf!:) haha well I Hope i can make it!
