Hi! I'm here on calorie count because for the last several years I've been trying to just lose those last few pounds and get down to my weight goal of 135 lbs. I created this group because I want to help teens like me with whatever troubles they may be having (whether weight loss related or not, we all have our own problems).

I love metal music, new age music, classical music, and anything with a good beat. I am an anime FREAK and my favorite anime is Rurouni Kenshin. I like movies derived from graphic novels and anything with good plot. I LOVE LIFE and hope you do too :DDDD

History with Calorie Count: I just joined a few days ago!

Reason for joining this group: I am trying to recover from an eating disorder/trying to lose the weight I gained this summer the HEALTHY way instead of the way I lost weight before (very low calories and chewing and spitting). I could really use some support.

Interesting details: I am 18 years old, currently 134 lbs at 5'4", my goal weight is 120. My obsession (other than food) is music. I am constantly looking for new good music but I find that most of the good stuff comes from the 50s through the early 70s. I'm from New York, Manhatten to be exact.... and I'm starting in my freshman year of college this year.

History with CC: I've been here almost a month and lost seven and a half pounds! I'm really happy about that! Only a few more to go!

Reason for joining this group: I have a really bad relationship with food- one week, I'll eat a ton and the next, I'll hardly eat at all. I go to a boarding school with a terrible food and sometimes, I just don't eat and that's really bad! I don't want to go through it again this year, so I decided to join and get some support! (:

Interesting Details: I'm Emily, 15, and roughly 5'6". My goal weight is 115 lbs, and I'm 119.6-120.5 lbs (it fluctuates) right now. My highest weight was 127 lbs, back in early August/late July.

Like I said before, I go to a boarding school! (: Its fun but its a little weird being away from my parents for months on end, haha. I'm fluent in Spanish and I speak some German and Korean! I love, love, love math and science.

I'm obsessed with anime and manga too! My favorites are: Bleach (Gin<333), Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Hot Gimmick, Fruits Basket and Dream Saga! In the music department, I'm an almost entirely rock kinda girl, which some random pop/dance that I can exercise too. My favorite bands right now are Trapt, Revolverheld, Staind, and Hollywood Undead!

Wow, that introduction was pretty long! :) Anyways, nice to meet everyone!

Hello! Meant to post this the day I joined, but got caught up in the life of a Freshman college student who already gets behind in her work. Go me!

I joined Calorie Count... August 15th, I think? I've been struggling with my weight for ages, which is why I joined this group. I'm so mad I've been having to 'cover up' all the extra fat so people won't think I'm overweight. At the beginning of this summer I was at my worst: 5'3 and 150 pounds. It did not look good on me, I don't carry extra baggage well. I got lucky, and went on a long trip for the summer where all we did was work hard and climb mountains all day, so when I came back and joined Calorie Count, I'd lost a lot and was at 140 pounds. I started logging my weight on August 15th, when I was at 136. Since then I've been fluxuating. Lost a lot on the first week or two in college, and then Labor Day weekend came and my grandparents came up. I said "hell, I'll lose all the weight that I gain", and ate like a pig, which put me back at 139, and today, I'm back at where I started: 136. I'm pissed that I nearly lost all that I'd worked so hard for, so I'm ready to start losing weight again. Maybe 120 is too far away of a goal, but I don't care, anything that's below 130. I can be happiest with myself then.

And some less angry details, My name's Jessica, and I have no job because I'm a full-time freshmen at college. I really like it on campus, and food-wise they usually always offer healthy alternatives to any meal and provide all the calories online if I want to check (but I usually can mentally gauge pretty well). All my family lives in California while I'm left on the east coast, far far away, which kind of bugs me if I think too much about it. No pets, but I used to have cats, and discovered over the summer that I could never own a dog (they never learn anything!). I'm interested most in becoming strong, fit and healthy, in finding the perfect someone for me, in devoting myself to studying and expanding my intelligence, and hope to become an author someday, be I successful or no.

Anyway, that's me, and feel free to drop me a line if you'd like, for anything at all! :)

hey there! lets see, my history with calorie count...well i began a couple years ago struggling with a developing eating disorder, then lost touch with it for about a year while i was in recovery, and have been rejoining since this summer just to keep myself in line...in a good way =).

i wanted to join this group because i want to meet other teens...haha, angry teens...on calorie count because there's no way i wouldnt have a ton of ideas and thoughts to share.. which'd be nice to find! people with the same struggles, frustrations, fears, and...angers.

some little details about me...hmm! well i've got the most amazing guy in the world. he makes life than much easier. i've had and am recovering from an eating disorder for the last 3 years, and i've come so far and learned so much and fight it everyday...have alot of pets and live in  the country, plan on going to a prestige...but public medical school, love to have a good time...wink wink...got the most caring family in the world...love to be active.. crazy about a thousand different hobbies.. tons of other things!! oh-and i love my job as a feeding assistant at a nursing home =)

hope to see alot more from this group!! thanks!!!
