I graduated high school in 1981, so for me, "80s Music" includes some that was released in the late 70s.  Forgive me if I'm off a few years.

Favorite 80s Band:  Simple Minds or The Go-Gos (hard to choose!)

Favorite 80s Song:  Alive and Kicking/Our Lips Are Sealed

Favorite Music Video:  Take On Me by A-ha

i know i'm a bit young to totally love the 80's (I was born in 1982) but i grew up with two older sisters and was practically raised by MTV. Plus I know every song that was popular in the 80's by heart. Therefore I'll give you my top three:

Favorite band: The Bangles or Tears for Fears

Favorite song: Oh Sherry, Steve Perry. Not sure why, but I love it. 

Favorite music video: These Dreams, Heart or Venus, Bananarama

There really is way too much out there to really pick one for each, but I tried!

My favorite that started in the 80s is Guns and Roses. but like alot of the music from that time. I lean more toward the heavier side but some of the slow stuff is cool to. I'm Maja, and I'm obsessed with 80's music. I grew up some years too late to have had enjoyed it all on the radio, but I've never been interested in anything else. I'm a sucker for cheesy pop/rock and some new wave.

Favourite artists: Oingo Boingo, Michael McDonald (though I really enjoy Doobie Brothers in general too), Sparks, Hall & Oates, Simple Minds, Erasure, Phil Collins, Tears for Fears, ABC... and a lot more..

Favourite song: Oh boy.. This is even harder :) Right now everything Michael McDonald and Oingo Boingo.. I used to listen to Boingo night and day, so they're really special to me.

I'm not sure I have a favourite video, but I always get a bit of butterflies in my tummy when I see Tears for Fears on the screen.
