Hello everyone,

I decided to join this group to get some insight on other peoples experiences with BFL. I did it earlier this year for the first time with great results but due to job and life strayed from the path. Well I am back on the path as of now and plan to keep it that way.

I was happy and fine with my weight for a while, but as I got older it has become more of a burden and want to do something about it. I was on BFL earlier this year and lost about 35 lbs. since I stopped doing the program I have gained that back plus about 15 more. So I have had it. Now that I live on my own and have a regular job I have no more of my usual excuses for not doing anything.

I have been useing CC since april when I was doing BFL hard core because It was the easiest way to keep a journal of my daily progress.

I work at a job I love and I love the schedule the only thing is it is 12 hours a day for two days then two days off then three days on and the reverses the next week. I am trying to figure out how I can do exercises 6 day when I really only have an hour or two max for myself before and after work.

Hope to hear from you guy soon

Welcome!

I have just finished one month of BFL - and although my weight hasn't changed I am feeling stronger.  I am trying to push my weight lifting even more I just have problems with the barbells at the gym not having "in between" weights -- you know it jumps from 12lb  to 15 then 20 and 25 and I can't do barbell chest presses very well at 20 lbs but 12 is really easy- also have this issue with the arm workouts.

Also does anyone have suggestions for hamstrings-  According to the book deadlifts are for hams, but according to other websites its for low back- I also don't feel it much in the hams.

Hello!  Anyone out there?  It has been a while since anyone has posted, just checking in!  I am starting BFL next week.  So cliche' with it being the first monday in the new year!  But, I am ready for change !

I don't want to type a ton if no one is around, so let me know!  I would love to hear how it worked out for those of you that were last here.

Cheers!

Don't feel bad at least you are starting. I check here from time to time and post if someone post on here.

Let us know you progress. It's a great program! I just wish more people did it. Don't let that discourage you. "90% of going to the gym is going to the gym" at least I think that is the quote

Hi, deadlifts work hams primarily and also your lower back.  It's a great exercise.  Also, there are curls leg curls that isolate the hams.  Lunges are good also and they work other muscle groups.

Does that help?

I have been using calorie count for a couple years on and off.  And did BFL one time before I had kids.  I love the program and am ready to try again.

I love working out, i jsut come up with every excuse to NOT  to go to the GYM.

So, Hopefully posting to this group will give me accountability to stay on track.
