Hey ladies,

I'm interested to see this group on Calorie Count!

Today's my very first day with the site. Glad to see it's free to get exactly what I paid for with WW! I hope that I can get involved with a network of people and actually have this diet be a success! I've only lost a significant amount of weight once (15 lbs) which I have since gained back, and then some.

I'm a doctoral student in clinical psychology in NH and love exercising outdoors, which needless to say isn't happening in these winter months! I did Rachel Brice's Yoga Bellydance dvd the other night and it felt really good! I could feel my abs when I laughed the next day. Even that's hard to stick with when I get home so late at night and am exhausted. Do you guys have any dvds that work for you?

Meg

Hello! I am currently a freshman in college but I, like many teenagers, am not confident with my body image.  Healthy meals are prepared when i'm at home, but I tend to eat out quite a lot.

I am taking online classes this year, so i've become more sedentary than usual.  Many of my friends have gone to distant schools as well, so my love of tennis and day-long-shopping sprees have been put on hold until I myself transfer to a more populous area.  My family has a history of diabetes, depression, thyroid problems, and being overweight so I am extremely worried about what my future health could be like if I don't start living a healthier lifestyle.

I just recently discovered Calorie Count, and love the idea of community support!  The online food and excercise journals are also a plus, although I am still not used to them.

I've joined this website in order to learn about leading a more active life.  This website will also be my reminder to limit my portion sizes (which I definately need to improve).  My current excercise partner is my eliptical, although we're not very close.

In addition to my previously listed interests, I enjoy listening to music, reading, designing, and dancing!  I was in tap when I was a wee child, ballet/jazz for 13 years, contemporary dance for a few years, and have been bellydancing for about 8 years just for fun :)

I would love to be at my target weight by the end of 2010.

Thank you for being my guides!
