Hello-I have been chubby for most of my life. I had a stint in highschool when I was a healthy weight. Since being with my boyfriend of 5 years, I have gained close to 30+ lbs and I'm over it! I joined CC about a month ago and find it really helpful for keeping myself on track. I've only lost about 3 lbs so far since then. I think that is from doing horribly on the weekend...need to cut out the drinks :(
I currently live with my boyfriend and our dog, Chloe. We also work together. We both need to lose weight and my plan is that I will lose all this weight and hopefully that will be his motivation.

Um...well...I'm trying to lose 10-15lbs... mostly I'm trying to tone up but since u can't spot train the idea is to lose weight and generally be fit.
I'm really doing well so far on CC..sticking to it so far and I hope with these groups' help... I'll continue!

goal weight 115 lbs
wanna lose 15 - 18 lbs on calorie control diet. I'm new here so don't know much just that CC calculated i shud be taking around 1200 calories a day to lose 1-2 lbs a week.
My hubby is also trying to lose 15 - 20 lbs. Any low calorie meals, snacks or fruits that i can eat? I love fruits and wud love to find out some low calorie snack fruits.

I was always very thin throughout my childhood and teen years, but have recently gained weight in the past couple of years. I'm hoping simply to tone up and slim down a bit via a low cal diet and plenty of gym time.

Hi! I'm 22, 5'4" currently 137. When I started on CC at the end of October I was 145, so I'm doing well! I just wanted a group to talk to about healthy weight. My goal is 125, which puts me just below the middle of the BMI. I don't have time to excersize very often (I'm ALWAYS working) so I'm trying to do it by controling intake and counting calories.
Something interesting?? I'm a Masters Student in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in transportation and public transit usage forecasts.... so pretty much even my interests are uninteresting :-)
Hi there...
I'm 21, 5'5" and keep bouncing between 138 and 145. I've been trying forever to get back to 125-130, but I haven't been able to reach my goal since senior year of high school when I was getting a lot of exercise and eating very little. My overeating and stress eating habits and inability to resist unhealthy food keep shooting me back up into the 140s. CC has helped me a bit, but sometimes I don't have time or forget to enter my food and exercise for the day. When I overeat, I rarely enter my daily data for fear of seeing the calories! I joined the group because I figured it might help with my motivation if I am sharing a goal with other people.
Something interesting... I'm graduating college in May and going to India to teach English.

I am doing aerobics for 45 mins for 4 days a week. From 2 weeks I am strcuk to 136 pounds. I don't know what to do to break this plateau. I don't keep a log of what I am eating as it is difficult for me to keep a record. But I maintain the excel sheet everyday what I eat. But still I am not able to loose weight 2 pounds a week. Please help me out. I am married; before marriage I was 125 but after that i gained weight. and now I want to again become 125. Please hel me out.

I'm Michelle. I weigh 150lbs and am 5'4". My goal weight is 133lbs.
I have been sporatic about my gym visits due to some personal drama I have been dealing with. I am now ready to get back on track and shed 17lbs. I have decided to keep a food log which I have never done so I can see what kind of CRAP I am putting in my body and start making a change for the better.

I am Shelly. My cw is 176. My gw is 130. I was small most of my life until I turned 30. I want to get back to myself again. I don't feel right with the extra fat I've put on. I am ready to begin a healthy lifestyle. I know I have a ways to go, but I beleive I can do it! My sw was 184, so I have lost about 8 lbs. My weakness is having a few beers now and then. I have not been doing that since I started a month ago. I have also cut out the pepsi! Another weakness is Chinese food! yummy.

I'm Tiffany and I current weigh 143 lbs and I'm 5'4". My goal weight is between 125-130lbs.
I've actually always been quite thin until 3 years ago. Yes, I'll admit it, I met my soon to be husband, we got comfortable and happy and I got a little chubby... LOL! When I met him, I was 125lb and went all the way up to 157lbs. It wasn't until I saw a picture of myself in January 2006 that I realized I needed to lose some weight. So far, I've been doing a decent job, but I still have some way to go.
Right now, I go to the gym 3 days a week where I do 60 minutes of cardio and 30-40 minutes to weight training. I also try to take a walk 2 days a week of at least 2 miles. I'm also using the calorie counter on this website to monitor my intake. Ideally, I'd like to get down to my goal weight by April or May, but definitely by September because I'm getting married.
1. History with weight loss: I don't have a great history with weight loss. My efforts result in initial weight lose, and then it stops. I'm sick of it!
2. History with Calorie Count: This is the second time I've been on the site and I am doing much better than I was last time. I finally have the motivation to stick with it and see some long term results.

I am living with my boyfriend of two years. I run part of an extended learning program for students who need more learning support in a city outside providence.

I like to play flute, cook all types of cuisines, write poems and sing.
I am in my thirties and have 4 children. The youngest is 6 and that is how many years I have been yo-yoing up and down. I tend to get sick of my body around 160 pounds so I work hard and return to 140ish, which is when I lose motivation to keep pushing for 125, my "happy" weight.
I am new to calorie count, I won't be using the online log since I keep a journal with me and I am here for the strength that I hope to gain from others going through the same trials.
This is the first online group I have found where everyone in the group pretty much has the same goal.
I am a Girl Scout Leader, and our year end excursion is to a water park, YIKES!
I hope I am able to share as much as I hope to glean from all of you.

1. History with weight loss: In 2005/2006 I lost 28lbs. and got down to 138 because I was told that I was pre-diabetic then I moved to Dallas met a man, long story short I had my daughter in October 2007. My end pregnancy weight was 207lbs my current weight is 173lbs.

Hi Everyone! New to the group and definitely need some motivation to reach my goal.
I am 5'3" and currently 149lbs. I would love to get to 120-125lbs by my second wedding anniversary which is June 9th.
I have always been slightly overweight since high school / college. Joined calorie count a few years ago and never really stuck with it for a long period of time. But this is the year and I need to do this!
Would love to hear any suggestions or tips on keeping with it over the weekend. I tend to fall off the wagon come Saturday & Sunday and need to figure out how to stick to counting calories on these days. It just seems to be so much easier to eat a few slices of pizza rather than a salad on the weekend!

Im a student in Durham university doing maths. And apparantly maths makes you get fat.
I've always battled with my weight, but it peaked last year at 168! Been "watching what i eat" since november and am now down to 150 but really want to get to 125. If I manage that i'd imagine ill try and go lower though!
Trying to bug my friends to join the gym with me but dont know how sucessful that will be.
Could use a weight loss buddy if anyones up for it

Im 4'10-11 . . .either way its short as hell i know, I am 19 and a current student at Maryland. I was overweight for most of my life and in the last two years i lost a net weight of 40 lbs(starting weight 155), unfortunately ive been straddling a weight of 118-123 for the last six months and no matter what i do my progress has plateaued :(, which has not been helped at all by the fact that i went to ethiopia for winter break and gained about five pounds.
my goal weight is 105 and its SOOO frustrating to be so close but so far away from my dream body . . . . .so if anyone has any tips or advice i would love to hear it . . . . .
. .oh and i would also be up for a weight loss buddy as well . . . . . . :)

History with weight loss: well i've been very thin my entire life, i was in swimming in high school and quit in 10th grade. in high school i never got over 115 pds. when i hit college, i gained a lot. about 3 weeks ago i weighed 147. i decided to do something about it, i've started swimming 3 or 4 times a week, and when i don't, i do the wii fit. and now i'm down to 140 :)

4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests: i work at the VA hospital. i have 3 dogs. i live with my parents (i'm 19), my birthday's on feb. 15th. and i love taking pictures :)
1. History with weight loss: I was 118-123 befor having children. With both pregnancies I gained 45lbs. After my 1st child I lost most of the weight and maintained 130 fairly easily. Now, after my second, it's been a struggle, but I have gotten down to 130-132 (depending on the day). I would like to be between 125-128. I know it only seems like a few pound but these seem to be the hardest.

4. Some interesting details about yourself: I live with my b/f & 2 kids. My son is 3 and my daughter is almost 8 months. I will be starting school this summer or fall to get all my prereqs for nursing and will continue my job as a full time office manager. My life can get pretty hectic sometime, but whos doesn't...right?
