Hello, I'm barb

never had weight issue till menopause this year, packed on 15 pounds especially since we quit going to the gym in march. I got a pacemaker then ( the week before I turned 49!)

I was sick of the gym and how it took away time from my new horse.

 I tried weight watchers in the spring andliked the on line portion but didn't really follow through. lazy I guess. So now, I'm trying again, I like the calorie counter web it's actually easier to use.

We have two Tennessee Walking Horse geldings, both coming eight. We got mine in December and hubby's in May and we board them just a mile from the house! they are a blast, all we do is trail riding.

Wow everyone is so negative! haha... So I live on a farm in prime VA horse country with our 8 horses, 4 dogs, and 6 cats. I am currently riding an ex-steeplechaser turned jumper named Avery.  He's a 16.2 chunky thoroughbred, and we are both trying to loose weight together :)  Taking care of the horses and all of the animals is a great way to get exercise!

hi! i keep my horses at a barn just a few miles away from my house in VA. i have 2 horses, a thorough bread gelding and a halflinger mare. i've been training my mare since janurary to be a jumper, and she is the sweetest horse ever and already my love. i'm only 14, but i thought it was awesome that someone made a page for horses!
