I know it! Thighs are my biggest problem.and butt. I am trying to run them off now. My weight is under control but I just have to get in shape again. I am 5' 5" and weight 136, but most of my fat is below my waist . They say everything drops after 40. But I'm excercing harder than ever before now a days.

Want read a very motivating book for excercise? Try "Younger Next Year". My Best and only good long term diet? Weight Watchers. It seems to be the only way I can do it long term, but this website works also if you just count calories.Weight watchers just converts the calories to points.

Same with me! Except I'm still a teenster. xD

I'll try that. :]

I'm 14 weigh 200 lbs and am not happy with my thighs. i would say thigh weight makes up 30 out of the 200 lbs.

I'm 13 and weigh 131.5

i gained a lot of weight over last summer, i dont even know how. i've lost about 10lbs of it and i want to lose another 5-10. new years revolution!

i joined this group because i'm one of those unlucky few teens with a genetic record of big legs. they are looking better now that i've been running like a maniac, but i am now motivated after looking at all this christmas apple pie.

Im 15 and weigh 145 lbs i just cant lose weight no matter what it just keeps going higher and higher. I have the genetic thing my mom has big thighs and my other relatives, i play soccer so its pretty much muscle but they are HUGE im also 5'0 so its kinda hard to lose weight, usually some people are short but have long legs short torso or vise versa i have short legs short torso so its REALLY hard to lose weight im extreamly active and everything idk what to do i just need tips to get these tighs away arrg.

Im 17, 119 pounds, and 5'3 i play soccer too and have been playing for
most of my life...soccer players are supposed to have rocking legs!! and
i dont =( they are mostly muscle but i still want them to be considered as small...its really just my upper thighs. helppppp.

I'm very new to calorie count, so I'm just basicly introducing myself... I don't get alot of exercise, I used to e a gymnast, but i quit ecausse of my back problems..... i got out of shape.... lk really out of shape.... but anyway, iv'e always had chunky thighs, but never knew hoe to get rid of them....my body structure has me as a thin, small person, but even when i was in shape, i had muscular thighs, they still looked like fat.... So, NOW im trying to loose weight and get back in shape!!

I have your same problem... I had really good thighs, but they looked HUGE.... i had to wear boys jeans, and they made me look fat.... I would suggest running, biking, lunges, and frog squats. this has really helped me, you just have to make sure you eat less of the sugary foods and more of the healty stuff.... see, you want to make sure people can see that your thighs consist of muscle and not fat. Its really hard though, because your thighs are the HARDEST place to loose weight, clinically proven. So, i hope this was helpful!

1. History with weight loss: I was always a chubby kid, but I started rowing at 12 and it was great. I never had any problems with body image even though I went through some dramatic changes and it's only recently I've been really struggling with eating disorders. 5 months ago I was at 145lb, admittedly, I starved myself to 127 which was horrible. In the past month though I've been trying to exercise and gradually return my eating habits to normal through using Calorie Count and running everyday.

I feel better, I can eat better, and I'm hells fitter.  (Sorry for the life story of a paragraph!)

2. History with Calorie Count: A couple of days, I've used other similar sites, but this one is by far the best!

3. Reason for joining this group: See what situations other people are in, and get to know how other health-conscious teens manage their lifestyle!

4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests: I'm 16, 5"7.5 (I love that lil .5) and 127lb. I do hockey, running and waterpolo and I used to do rowing and tae kwon do which I can't wait to take up again once school is over!

I hope everyone here reaches their goals, best of luck! xo

Hi everyone!

I joined this group because it's like, my dream to have skinny thighs- note to self- I need to get a life  :)

1) History with weight loss- Nothing too major I don't fluctuate much. I weigh 103 at the moment (I'm 5 foot 3) My body is really chunky though, even at that low weight. I'm goint to get to 7 stone (97lbs) and see if it makes any difference.

2) History with Calorie count- I just joined today for motivation.

3) Reason for joining this group-I want skinny thighs??

4)Some interesting details about yourself- I'm a fashion student which isn't as fun as it sounds. It's made me paranoid about weight because I'm constantly researching/drawing skinny models- and it doesn't do much for my self image looking at twigs all day long. So now I'm convinced that my thighs are fat and I'm going to do something about it.

I'm 16 and I really want to lose weight in my theighs and legs, overall. I wouldn't really consider then porportionate with the rest of me. My legs are somewhat muscle because I run a lot. But, the rest of the thigh area is fat, and that's what I'm desperate to lose.

My history with weight lost. Well, I really haven't gotten serious with trying to lose weight. That's what this site is for. I'm 16, 5'6" and 140 pounds.

I'm new! I just joined today for motivation and organization.

I want skinny legs. To go out in the summer to the beach and not be worried about the stretch marks and fat!!

I'm just a normal 16 year old girl. I guess not, because I'm really not as skinny as most of them. I would say trying to lost weight is partically medias fault and seeing so many skinny girls, I just want to be as skinny as them. I'm convinced my legs are fat and I really want to lose it.. ALL

haha thats my dream too!!

1. History with weight loss: I'm 18. My parents always told me I was fat/I needed to lose weight. I was 130lbs as a 13yr old. I had serious eating issues and weighed about 100 at 5 feet for a few years. In the past 2 years I have gained almost fifty pounds. I am about 160 and I'm short. I need to lose weight to be able to respect myself and I've come to terms with that.

2. History with Calorie Count: I joined this morning and hope that I will actually be able to stick to this thing.

3. Reason for joining this group:I have big thighs, they used to be muscle from playing soccer and basketball when I was little, now they're just flub.

4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests: I have a boyfriend who I blame my weight gain on. I have a yorkie mix who is my life, she was a high school graduation present and she means the world to me.

(Sorry if I wrote more than expected but I'm in a really rant-happy mood...)

1. History with weight loss:

i dont think i really have a history. ive been wanting to lose weight for a long time, but i dont really have time. so now im going to make time i guess cos it sucks to be fat in the summer, right? im fifteen, and i want to lose about 17 pounds by the middle of the summer and look good for my sixteenth birthday in august.

2. History with Calorie Count:

i joined about thirteen minutes ago, and was thrilled to see this group. cos i definitely need it.

1. History with weight loss: I've kinda always been the skinny girl but over the past three or four years, I started putting on serious weight in like my thighs (ugh i hate them) and my butt (which is ridiculously huge). I mean i am like skinny above my waste, but below, oh dear, its like REALLY bad. i mean REALLY BAD.
2. History with Calorie Count:i joined like idk, a month ago, and i went on for like a few days, but then it was my birthday and i had a party and then there was break and my friends birthday, and i got sick and i just sorta like left my diet, sadly, and now i am back, FOR GOOD.
3. Reason for joining this group: I hate my thighs, like absolutely hate them. And my butt. Yep.
4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests: I play basketball and i run, and i used to horseback ride  (which kept my thighs super skinny) but i persued basketball instead because i had more time for it with school and stuff.

Im 18 and weigh 155 lbs. Im 5' tall so this makes my weight a much bigger problem than it should be, its extremely hard for shorter people to manage weight.

I have recently realized that my weight is a problem and i need to do something about it now, or Im going to gradually gain more overtime, and that is certainly not what I want.

Ive always been a few pounds above what I should be but my weight has rapidly increased over the past few months, I think it is a way of me dealing with my best friends death in October.

Im joining this calorie count thing to hopefully get me on track.

1. History with weight loss: I used to be thin as a kid so I had to take all these shakes to gain weight. It was natural thin though, because genetically my thighs would always be larger but I'd be tiny. Still, when I moved to the US the doctors here didn't understand that I was healthy for my height and so I had to gain lots of weight. I've always been really bitter about it because I'm only 5'0, 5'1 at best  now (so then I must've been 4'9 or 4'10) and they brought me up to 125 in the 6th grade. I've been steadily losing weight since then and now I weigh  around 110 but I'm still short and am now 14, turning 15 in August. Wow, long paragraph here, sorry. But my weight is on my thighs and I hate it, not even on my butt. I really don't like the way they look, they make me want to cry sometimes.
2. History with Calorie Count: Joined a few days ago.
3. Reason for joining this group: I really need to lose the weight, on me it's unnatural as my frame is so damn small it just hangs so badly. I just want to get to 95 or 100 to see if any of the weight on my thighs goes.
4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests:
I like to jog, I'm a black belt in taekwondo, and I like hiking.
