I have struggle with weight loss i once loss 30 pounds only to gain it back. I have never use calorie counter i am a first timer. I work as a customer service manager not that interesting.

I need to lose 7 pounds doesn't sound like a lot but it is huge me.I tried calorie counter before but I wasn't serious now I need to be.I started gaining weight when I turned 41 and changed my work to working from home at a desk. I will be 46 in a few weeks and this is my goal for the year.I like to exercise so I try and get to the gym 5 days /wk. I joined this group. to know others close to me are dealing with the same issues

Just joined the group today.  I've been married for 10 years now, I have three adult children and 8 grands.  My husband and I have a German Pincher dog named Penni (she's quite a handful) and I'm an employee at UM.  As for my history with weight loss, I don't think that I've had a serious issue with my weight, I just accepted it for what it is; never really thought about losing weight until recently.  The only weight loss program I've used was a 12 week weight watchers plan.  Yeah, I lost some weight, but I did it without really trying. My goal is to lose 30 to 40 lbs.  I've been walking and biking every day but now I need to be more aware of my food /calorie intake; which is the reason I joined calorie counter.  I'm a first-timer and I'm ready for some successful results!

Hello! This is my first offical post on this site. I actually lost 20lbs doing the quick weight loss diet and now trying to loose 20 more to get back to my normal weight. I got too comfortable and want to get healthy again. I liked how quickly I did loose the weight but it got really hard for me because the diet is so restricted. They also didn't encourage exercising but allowed only cardio to be done. I spent a lot of money with them and half of it I'm throwing away because I can't bare to eat any of the food supplements they want us to eat. Now I'm trying a new life and bringing back all the exercise I love doing and trying to keep watch at how many calories I intake. Has anyone else tried the quick weightloss diet? I've offically been on this site for a week and lost 2lbs which is healthy for me. I'm looking forward to reaching my goal and be able to feel completely comfortable on the beach!

Hi! I am in Fort Lauderdale.  This is my second day, first to actually participate.  I need to loose 103 pounds just for my self esteem.  I never leave the house unless someone makes me.  I think that I am supposed to stay out of sight as a courtesy to others.  I just started using my elliptical again today for the first time this year.  I'm trying to make myself go to the store to get some fresh fish, but so far, no luck.  I havn't been to the beach in about 3 years.Cool  If it weren't for the boat I would never see the ocean!  I fell off a dock on Monday, Memorial day and into the canal.Surprised  It was hilarious!  SPLOOOOOSH!   I'm OK...I meant to do that......Embarassed.    I love to fish.  I would fish all day every day if I could.  I have 3 and 1/2 cats (one is my daughters, but i take care of it)  I am a VP of a construction company but all that means is that I can sign the checks.Laughing  I am a musician, piano, guitar, learning cello.    That's about it .  I love my husband and he is a great support.  He is just a little too comfortable with my weight, or too polite to say otherwise!  So.. here we go.  Say "Bye Bye" to the pretty fat lady!  Let's do this thing.

Hello Everyone! My name is Casey, i'm 23 in Fort Lauderdale, and I want to get off the last of my weight...

1. History with weight loss:

I have never been a "skinny" child, but i've also never fallen into the obese category.  I'm a tall girl, 6'1", so it would be nice to be able to wear a bikini proudly.

2. History with Calorie Count:

I have been on here before and as a result am an excellent judge of counting calories, but I want to make sure that I hold myself accountable this time.

3. Reason for joining this group:

I thought it might be cool to make some weight loss buddies who possibly live close to me... always up for making new friends!

4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests:

I work at UM so I have a mega commute every day! I'm super close w/ my family and have an amazing bf! I also have a pooch named Mr. Michael!

OMG where do I start? I am a divorced mom of 5, living in SoBe. I am 41 yrs YOUNG. Three of my children live w my ex in New York (by no choice of mine) and 2 live in Ft Laud. I have been unemployed since Nov 08. Server BY CHOICE! Since unemployed I gained a HUGE amount of weight. At my highest I was 147. I am 4'10 and I LOVE FOOD. My bf is a chef at a restaurant in SoBe. I am frustrated at MY limits on food. He wrks nights and I just eat and cook by myself and it is chix chix chix!! I am going to NY on Aug 4th and I wanted to be at 125 b4 I get there. Since I started my diet (july 1st) I am now at 135. I am now STUCK at 135!! I work out EVERYDAY! I also take advantage of the beach. I walk on the beach 1 hr a day everyday. I have never had a problem w my weight until now. My goal weight is 100. Which I have been up until 9 months ago. I love this site!! I love the people...thus far. Any ideas for me...dont hesitate to get back to me!!

1. History with weight loss:

Well pratically when i hit 16 my weight has always fluctuated from 132-150. My normal weight is 135, but everytime i got a boyfriend or recently i got married i gained 10lbs, so im weighing 145lbs and although im 5'5 and it doesnt show so much, i still notice!!!. It's scary cause that old saying is true, when your happy you gain weight. And everytime i lost weight it was cause i was unhappy or i was single..lol So this time i want to lose weight the right way, by dieting and exercising, although i have always exercised i just never ate right.

2. History with Calorie Count:

I'am a first time user

3. Reason for joining this group:

Because i live in MIA babe...lol and i want to be with my peoples.

4. Some interesting details about yourself, such as your job, your family, your pets and your interests:

I just recently got married and i love my husband so much. And where having a competition with who can lose the weight the fastest and tone up. And the loser has to buy the winner whatever they want under $100. Im a bit worried because my husband is a very athletic guy and lean. He only gainged like 7lbs and thats nothing, he can drop those so fast. So im hopeing i win, wish me good luck!

Good Morning - I just found this site.  I am current overweight.  I was thin for many years 119-123, b/4 children, then 125-129 until about 5-6 years ago.  My normal weight is 130-135, I put on about 15-20 lbs since my mother fell, fractured her hand and then needed to move into an Assisted Living Facility in Boynton Beach and my life turned upside-down w/taking care of many things for her.  She just turned 95.

I live in Delray Beach and have been working on losing 15-20 lbs that I've put on over the last 3 years due to the stress in my life.  I have followed W/W for many years but cannot seem to stick w/it lately.  I go to Curves 3x week - but the other days at hit 'n miss.

This site looked very interesting - I am also on SparkPeople, love the articles and information and support, but have not followed their paln.

Although a Senior Citizen I still work - need to be more active at it - self employed Insurance Agent, plus I have a Private Franchise business w/all natural, food based, liquid nutritional supplements.  I have 2 grown/married children and 3 grandchildren.

I enjoy reading, crafts (needlework, knitting, sewing), the beach/pool, concerts, theatre, movies, dining out (not too often) cruising and I love to travel.  I Keep busy.

hi my name is Lauren,

&nb sp;               I am 32, I have 4 beautiful children and would like to lose at least 75 pounds. I found this site online today never heard of it but i was really craving carrot cake and because i am dieting i wanted to look up the calories so i could discourage myself. I recently started going to boot camp very very hard by the way but i am going and pushing myself and feel very sore but better i am also doing phase one of the south beach diet very hard as well...i work as a waitress which makes everything so much harder,,,but i have been really good for a week and with good reason i am walking as a maid of honor in a friends wedding and purposely bought my dress one size smaller crunch time 2 weeks wish me luck. I was always a 25 pounds overweight in my 20's after my 3rd child i lost all the excess weight and finally reached my goal of 130..and for the last 6 years after my daughter i have just lost myself i have bought every diet pill and a couple workout programs pay for a  gym membership just no motivation although it is something that bothers me more then everything...i am hoping to meet people in my shoes to help me thru my times of weakness :)
