Hi There;

My name is Mannie and I've been with CC since Feb 9th. I basically joined because I only had about 15lbs to loose which for me have been the hardest. I'm from Nova Scotia Canada and am truly a pet lover. I've got a Beta fish, a red Canary, a Corn snake, a tabby/calico cat and a mini schnauzer. I've had Lizards and millipedes as well. I have found that all my "babies" have certainly helped me through the toughest challanges during my diet. Without their licks and tweets and bubbles and hisses it would be a hard struggle, my Hubby is posted away from us and my kids are pretty much self dependent. If it weren't for the little ones I'd surely would go stir crazy.

Hi all!

I'm Caty (Izzy is my dog and I LOVE HER)! I joined CC 5-5-09 and I love it! It is so user friendly and it is nice to have my calories updated on this all day and not doing it myself by hand in a journal!

I have never had wieght issues till this year.  I have always been tall and lanky.  I played D1 Volleyball and then transfered to D2 so I could focus a bit more on studies... needless to say I have had a very intense team workout environment my whole life but I graduated college and I'm lost! My body changed this year!  I gained 35 pounds! I hate it! I went from an elite athlete with only 17% body fat @ 5ft 11in and 155lbs of lean muscle to this current cage of a body at 185lbs and LORD KNOWS MY BODY FAT SINCE I HAVEN'T LIFTED WIEGHTS IN AGES!

I want to get back to being ME! Feeling GOOD in a bathing suit!  So I have 30lbs to ditch, wish me luck!

I have started my regimen of fitness: I have been going to a spin class 3 days a week, running 2 days a week, walking my dog EVERYDAY for 30 mins (instead of the quick in and out to pee walks we did for about 12 months while i got chunky), and using my WII fit 2 days a week!  So far so good... just nice to know there are other people out there fighting the good fight against crappy empty calorie foods!

Be happy to chat with anyone... I have all the tools to succeed and I would be happy to share what I know (you learn a lot playing volleyball in college when you have a strenghth and conditioning coach, a nutritionist, an agaility trainer, and a volleyball coach all sculpting your body!).
