OKay my kids school is out to sabotage me.  Baked cookies for there party tomorrow.  Would have bought them but I went broke the last time I was at the store.  Had one and only one.  Going for steamed Veggies tonight.  It never fails that the holidays get me.  did get out for a walk today so hoping that made up for the cookie.  SOme super nice weather going on here.

 

bee:  are you on antibiotics?  Strep is awful. 

oh no!!!  I went to store for just a few things.  Was going back TOMORROW for my Brachs hard Valentine candy, since I don't always have willpower.

BUT, they only had 3 bags left, so I bought one.............sniff, sniff..........(can you see where this is going)  Now, I've eaten half the bag and probably 250 sugar calories.  And just when I was doing so well.  But I thought, so what..........I care about weigh in tomorrow........but is it worth not having this candy now.......you can see what won out.  I am still under calories, but I think the sugar will retain water, so I'll be surprised if I'm not up.

I should have left them in the trunk of my car!  I've done that before.
Rachael, are you speaking of those printed on hearts?  Without chocolate, I dont know that theyre even candy.  In fact I understand theyre made from dried toothpaste - or so they taste that way.  I always thought the lure was the fun of the sayings not the chalky taste.  Are we talking of the same thing? 

Bee, you are a trouper -sorry to hear of your throat, sounds sucky!  Good going though hanging in there. 

Sarah, ditto on what bee said.  Baking cookies, cake, etc. rocks my willpower.  The last time I smelled a cake baking, it was eating me up inside - I couldnt believe how it got to me.  Way to take one and walk away. 

Looking forward to manana and getting closer to 350.  Granted my goal was 347.5 but things could be worse - I got past the binge and was fortunate for only to catch up so well.  Just a wee more pressure as Ive mapped my progress so far in advance.  I know - can only do what I can but hopefully this will work to keep me straight and narrow. 

Got a bunch of new items to include for groceries - tuna, lowfat cottage cheese, no oil canned artichokes, will check out some new froz veg, really needing to stir things up and do some testing.  Going to have to check the other ads that came in the mail today too.

On the up side, I am still 130!!  woohoo!!  I even went for a meal last night!

On the downside, I think my boyfriend might be cheating on me!

Im still the same at 159.5 but after the pudding incident Im happy about it.

gina:  How many women have been in your shoes (including me) re BF?  Are you going to try and work it out?  good luck with whatever you do.

sun:  yes, the toothpaste tasting candies, ALTHO,  I never thought of them like that.  glad you don't like them, all the more for me. hehe.

my weight wasn't really down from 183 in Jan. as that was still Christmas bloat.

I'm relaxing today on calories and carbs.  I guess 10 days is all I can do without going bonkers.  I'm having a grilled cheese for lunch.  I'm only going to be moderatly weight conscious till March 1.  Then, will try harder.

Even tho I swore I'd be down to 172, I couldn't even get out of my house cause of the weather, without great risk...............so.......didn't make it.   2.5# to go, tho and it sounds possible now.

Gina, I read your other post and I really am sorry for for what you must be dealing with! {{{gina}}}  Please do not look at yourself in any way regarding this.  Its not about the you.  Whether he is only pursuing it, has already or currently is,  its a crappy thing to do to anyone.  Please take care of yourself now - and congrats on 130 and no gain, thats 8 lbs down from Jan 31!  {{{gina}}} 

Good luck getting working thru that, Bee!  The symptoms must not be new to you but the sound horrible.  Wishing you some relief as you deal with it.

Drama at the house, outright defiance from my teen and planning to see the school counselor today.  Hopefully weighin will bring some sunshine into my day.   
I was feeling nosey, hacked into his email and found he'd joined a dating agency!!  Looked and some of his sent messages and in one of them he said he was "recently single"!!  WTF??

Is this cheating??  Dont think he has actually met with any of these girls.

I've been holding it in for a while.  Its like if I actually said it - it would be real!!  How stupid am I??

Good morning Ladies.  Well it's finally Valentine's day and I missed my first goal since starting the SBD plan but only by 1# so I am happy.  I weighed 131 today and was shooting for 130. 

The cookie monster MUST be on the loose.  I made a batch of Oatmeal Raisin for a co-worker of my hubbys who is going to another job.  They are also my favorite and I couldn't resist.  I admit I did lick my fingers with batter but just a few times and then fell all the way and ate 1 cookie but just 1 and not the biggest one so I am trying to forgive myself and not blame that on todays weight. 

Enters, don't know the situation but if he cheats while dating, it will never get better.  Dump him now and find someone who will support you all the way.  I know is seems like there aren't any good ones out there but you would be surprised.  I dated many losers before meeting my hubby.  I think its a process most of us have to go through. 

Bee, sorry your sick.  Try some chewable vitamin C.  My husband swears by them.  When he's sick, he chews 1000 mg a day, 500 on regular days, and he is rarely sick.

Hope everyone has a good weigh day.  My next goal is 125 on 3/25, my anniversary. 

No Gina you're not stupid.  This actually happened to a friend of mine with her husband.  she hacked his email too.  Im not sure what he was more PO'ed about the fact that he got caught or that she hacked his email.  There working it out but its been a slow progress
we just need to hear from sun now........and keeping my fingers crossed for her.  We are all maintaining or losing........no GAINS, so let's have a big cheer for ourselves!

Let the sun shine - 351.4, almost checked a 3rd time!  Did the binge 2weeks back cause me to zig zag lose, even a second week?  My thursdays from Jan 1st - 362 360 358 373 358 351 - from 2-3 lbs losses to crazy up/down numbers.  I dont know with 7 lbs if I can even expect a loss next week but with the 340s sitting there you know Im going for it.  Lordy, lordy and everyone without gains - Happy VD to us! 

Gina, its the worst type of cheating - paying to meet someone, not even leaving it up to chance.  I posted on your other post but again, understand the shock.  I was there and realize it was supposed to be a shock - I wasnt supposed to find out how deceptive my ex was.  Im here for you whatever you do.

Go Sarah - not feeling too cold this side of TX but earlier, yeah guess it was.  Wings, good going with your continued loss and all this control around fresh baked cookies.  I will have to decline such a test LOL!

You want to be in the 340's and I want to be in the 160's.  good luck to us both.  No, I don't expect as much of a loss next week.  I never do it 2 wks in a row, especially in bad weather and  not much exercising.
Im figuring at 349, closer to 300 qualify as 300+ lbs.  :D 

I know how active you normally are Rachael - but halfway through February, better weather is coming.  Enjoy your grilled cheese and - you do really good keeping it under control, witnessing you on vacation.  And your Valentines Day treat - ENJOY!  You know those Necco like printed hearts are only 3cal each!

Everybody - Im only saying this because I care about you, no valentines day chocolate is worth the calories.... except the good kind!!
