Hi all, I've had a rough couple of days with the stomach virus but it didn't stop my appetite, actually the opposite.  I stepped on the scale yesterday morning to a 2lb weight gain.  Anyhow, I had a complete break down and ate way more than I should've and a lot of the wrong things including ice cream that I passed up the week before at a birthday dinner.  Hoping to pick myself up and get back on track this morning.

I have not stopped logging my foods on the CC.  Do you guys usually not log when doing SBD?  I just always have and still seem to stay between 1200-1400 cals/day.  However, I am still not seeing the results that I thought I would.  Oh well, am going to try to continue on and stick with the program.

I started logging my food when I started phase 2.  Im just taking a little break.... kind of like an experiment to see what Ive learned so far.  I get kind of obsessive when logging my food some times.  Im sticking to SBD phase two and of course coming here for support.  Sounds like everyone is doing great!!!!

How was the weekend??  everything is pretty much back to normal for me - including my weight!!

Morning all,  Having a great day so far.  My friend wants to go out to eat for lunch.  looking forward to the company but not the temptations.  Salad all the way baby LOL.  Started taking a vitamin hoping it will help get rid of this cold a little faster.  Stuffy noses and coughs suck.  get to go help her formal dress shop for a big party coming up maybe Ill play dress up to HAHA
Wow - a ravenous day yesterday and still this morning.  Sunday started out with cramps, which I almost never  get, and month end is the time (not that I get one monthly) but I havent got it and now my appetites on fire. 

I know PMS appetite is nothing new but its not an issue Ive noticed personally.  I stuck to good foods but know I had to have gone over my cal norm.  Whether it will interfere with weight loss is to be determined.   I was happy it happened so long before Thursday but being so hungry today has me concerned.   My emphasis eat more if Im that hungry uncomfortable but dont break the diet and/or binge.

Sarah, I was going to ask about seeing the dress you pick but I think we're still waiting on a haircut phot (hmph!).  :P  Rachael, I cant imagine wet legs in the cold.  I remember snow melting on clothes outside and how freezing it felt. 

At 150 last week, this is my week so fighting the craving and chugging peach tea.

Well.... the scale showed a not-so-impressive .2 loss.  I don't think I will hit a 5 pound loss for February. (sigh)

i have tried the atkins diet before with little success. the carbs were too low and my cravings were uncontrollable. i hope sbd will be the answer. i am a 28 year old female i weigh 160 and i am 5'6 i want to be 135ish. i am hoping i can stick with it. i workout as much as i can usually 5 days a week 1 hour of cardio and a couple of days with free weights. i so want to lose this weight and fit back into all my clothes. i have gained 30lbs in six months due to an extended illness let made me unable to eat except from a tube in my arm. when i could eat again i ballooned up really fast. i figure if i can gain it that fast i can lose it that fast too. hopefully!!! wish me luck. i sure can use it :)

Hey Rachael,

I would love that much snow (yeah I know your laughing and cringing at me!!), but its probably more of a novelty than anything!  Snow lasts only a few hours here and a max of about 2 days!!  When I was younger we couldnt go to school some days because of the snow!!!

Hope your calves feel better!!  Have you tried a warm bath and then some strectches - it might help!!  I have just started back training myself so the body is a little sore today.  Also, I dont seem to be able to lift the same amount of weights as I was 2 weeks ago!

Anyways, hope your day goes well!!  Only 3 hours until I go home!
Morning guys  sounds like your doing great.  My daughter would love it if it snowed here.  Crazy...  it was 85 degrees yesterday and 50 degrees today.  weird weather going on here.  I seem to be maintaining with this not logging cals thing Im trying.  Thats good for after I get down to 140...... but not now.  This plateau is killing me and discouraging me.  I haven't been able to keep it in the 150's for long then creep up to 160  that seems to be my set weight for now.  I need to step it up a notch with the exercise or something.
Welcome to the group Carolyn!  Sounds like a reasonable time frame youve set and you sound motivated to reach your goal.  We'll be here for support :D

Im of the thought if its cold enough to snow, we should at least get snow.  I could see the challenge that brings to outside exersize but in that temp, you wouldnt catch me outside anyway.

Still trying to handle this carry over hunger.  Ive gotten so good at knowing my hunger so when I respond to portions still hungry guess its just experiencing PMS that I dont normally.

hi all...

its been a hectic month.... and it ended in a very sad manner... we had my brother's wedding on saturday (23rd) which was also my son's first birthday and my grandmother (95) passed away on the same day (3.00 am) my dad was with her at tht time and he did not inform us till the wedding was over... poor him... he had to bear it all by himself for more than 12 hrs... we were all prepared for it... but it shud not have happened on the same day....... anyways... thats destiny... cannot help it... but we're trying to adjust to it all... especially my newly wed SIL. She's the one who's been the most affected by all this....

i looked at my few last posts... it seems i've said more about myself than about south beach... :) doesn't matter... i feel better when i talk to all of u...
