I wouldnt feel vain about the mirror Rachael - if I weighed as little as you, I be running naked in the streets! Well, maybe walking - dont like when stuff jiggles but I probably wouldnt care. :P I remember when people went on talk show to complaining of a sister or friend who dressed like a 'hoochie' (I believe they were called). Id think, "Yeah, need a little more clothes'" until that one who'd say how she lost 100+ lbs and Id think, "You go girl!" LOL
Never been one to throw it all out there but wont be hiding in oversized clothes when the weight drops, especially since I worked for it.
My mom hasnt seen me 4 years. Shes 88 and in FL. It would not have been good for her to see me when I was over 400 lbs and immobile. She worries about nothing so I didnt want her concerned for me. In fact, when anyone says there going to visit they usually give a later date so they can arrive without her worrying herself sick that we'll get there okay. That or surprise visits = she's in assisted living.
Tonight headed to Alice's - going to bring the head of cauliflower (how weird does THAT sound) so I can show her the popcorn thingie Ive told her about. Since she'll be cake decorating, will be good to have a snack too!
Hi all, I'm doing South Beach (again, I've done it many times) but looking at my daily analysis I don't think I'm getting enough fiber. I think that I should get 30-35 grams p/day but I'm only getting 25 or so a day. I have 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed and 1 tablespoon psyllium husk every day in my protein shake, and I eat a ton of veges.
Any suggestions on how to get more? I'm not a big fan of taking pills. It's not that I can't, its just I find it difficlut to remember and do it consistently!

Rachael, funny how some sweet cravings can be! My mom had me at 42 so growing up it was almost a grandmother situation. Im a worrier too though so hoping I dont get worse as she has.
My ex is moving into the from 30min away to the complex behind my house and my daughters moving in with him. Will spare you details but it will be a moment to exhale for me - long overdue. He picked her up today and Im at such peace. Also, FINALLY willing to tackle the condition of my house now knowing it can actually stay clean.

Rachael, your still doing great fighting that scale and 2oz - did you try exhaling? :D Way to watch the stress Bee - college pressure is serious stuff.
Didnt realize it was Pattys Day. Probably no coincidence cabbage was on sal but forgot it was coming when I bought some which I can cook tonight. I usually avoid it as I tire of it before finishing it but found a really small head of it that will work fine.

Then I ended up late into the morn, which as before finds me hungry by a certain point but did cottage cheese thankfully although some other things were looking tempting that would not have been good choice.
Had thought to do a mini grocery run and wishing I had since its pouring and should be tomorrow. Forget waking Sarah up - Im coming round to wake you all up! :P Good morny!
Rachel, we are going to be in Ireland for just a week (I wish it were longer). Thankfully, the jet lag never seems to bother me. My husband is a little nervous because he's never been overseas (I have been to visit my family in Ireland many times and I lived in London for about 6-7 months).
So, my husband's cousin is getting married two days after we get back from Ireland (June 29th) and I'm excited to get a new dress!! All my dresses are too big, so I am going to wait to buy one until the beginning of June (when I should be at maintenance). Also, I think the wedding is a good way to make sure I watch my calories when I am in Ireland. Double yay!
I have been so hungry the last two days, but I think it is because I am sooo tired!! I need to take a nap instead of snacking! It's wet and cold here; I'm sick of Michigan!!
