When friends would ask me to sew something for them it was a reason to finally get around to my own too :D!

I did really well at brunch - string beans, salad and a small piece of ham.  I also tried lox - ugh! At least I now know what thats about for some reason thought it was something like eel or sardines but its cured, uncooked salmon (okay, maybe Im the only one who didnt know).

I kept busy, eating later then everyone (buffet) so the pies on the table werent much of an issue.  As we talked quite a while though and the food wore off, I swear those pies still sitting out started getting stronger aromas.  I didnt dare - I think if anything would set me off, itd be a dessert like that.

Did you get your walking in Rachael?  I did - Walmart!  Didnt really need to shop but those pies stuck in my head I decided not to go home and clear my mind so I shopped several hours til now.

hello everyone, today is my first day. I really over did it this weekend so I am so ready to start. I don't care what it takes I will finish these 2 weeks without cheating.

Good morning!!!  Missed you.. missed you.. missed you guys!!!!  Fun vacation but Oh boy did I over eat.  to much desserts(pie and cake) and starches(potatos and bread).  not going to weigh myself till thursday.  So good to be back!!!!! Now Ill have to go back and read last weeks posts and catch up.
Thats great about the salad Bee!  With all the high cal sides at Easter, I was so glad to see that bowl of string beans so I can relate!

Monte- I hope you your day is off to a good start!  Are you starting with phase 1? From a weekend like that, its great for a good weightloss (zigzag thing).  Sarah, missed you back!  I had to go back to see you were you on spring break and at first really wondered where you'd been.  Rachael, keeping dry I hope!  Wishing you luck with Thursday :D!

Last night, I was sore sore sore and still a little this morn - too much Walmart but actually glad I did it.  I got to take advantage of those inspirations to move when they come.  I was going to redo my scheduled weight loss since Im behind but Ive since decided to try to catch up since Ive over two months to do so.  A little nudge to keep me on track since Ive got makeup work to do -

Kiki's dad is still settling in (its the apartment complex behind me) and they are still making trips to pickup her stuff.  I told him to bring her food since we really did have different foods.  To think this will be a SB food only house LOL!

Sun123, can you please make my scale behave????

There is nothing more distressing than stepping on a scale Monday morning, and having it show 4 pounds more than the last time! EEEEK. I am hoping it's just water, but I do think I've hit a hard plateau with too great a calorie deficit, so I've (1) increased my calories by 400; (2) decreased my carb percentage; and (3) increased my healthy fats.

* fondly remembers when weight loss (at the beginning) was so much simpler *

MOLLY

Morning....wow lots of things to catch up on around the house.  How do you working moms do it...Im in awe!!!  Easter bunny aka daddy brought a trampoline.  did you know jumping for an hour burns just as many cals as walking.  lots more fun too.  praying that my kids stay away from broken bones even though it has a net around it.  I broke down and weighed myself just to see the damage 161.5 is the number ggrrrrr 160's again drat.

Thanks for the welcome back.  Im so glad to be back on the wagon this easter candy needs to go though.

Jayne my kids are still little and I cant imagine them moving out just the thought scares me.  I might think differently in about 10 yrs or so LOL.

Rachel you have guts to go out and walk in the nasty weather.  Ive been happy to stay around the house after being away so long.

Bee sounds like you handled yourself very well with the surprise dinner.  better than I did over the last week LOL.
Molly, my willingness to bully scales precedes me - you might try, "Do I have to bring Sun over here?" in a '50s "Wait until your father gets home" tone. :D    Hang in there adjusting to the calorie increase - Ive read members say it can take a week or two to settle into good weight loss.  Also remembers those early weeks of pounds pouring off.

Trampoline sounds like so much fun!  Not with my knees but in general like serious fun - like swimming.  Wishing you a nice zigzag from you time off Sarah - if not this week, ideally next!  I used to feel the same way about kids moving out and being single, it was like thinking I'd have to start a life afterwards.  Starting to wonder if teenage years are to help make the split easier.

Rachael, wish I could handle egg whites like that - so low and protein but they always have been a big problem.  I think its texture, eventhough jello doesnt bother me.  Good job braving the elements outside for your walk!
BTW was checking out the old SB thread and come upon when some of us SB thread seniors first posted.

I didnt realize how many of us came on so early, all over 6 months back!

Ohio as soon as you hit your goal, you are going to go out and eat like a pig for a week, so why bother.
Most peole countdown to the weekend, I count down to Thursdays and so happy Wednesday is here!  Rachael, you are a real inspiration when it comes to getting in activity.  I can just imagine you coming in from that freezing bike ride!

Sarah, hows the trampoline working out?  My exposure to them is limited to those TV funny videos of people bouncing off them so good thing with the little ones and the netting.  Hoping this week is given those 160s a fight.

Bee, youre the first vegetarian SBer Ive known and I love seeing how it can be adjusted as Ive read to the vegetarian lifestyle.  BTW I also ate right before heading off to Easter - that system has always helped me with temptation.

Molly - hoping that plateau gets bored and scrurries along.  You deserve better!

Boy did I buy a lot of cabbage!  Im such a sucker for a bargain.  Made a pan with mushrooms and shrimp, using a LOT of cabbage - when this is all said and done, might not be able to eat it for a while :D.

I really need to work on keeping my calories up - sometimes I get into procrastinating eating to a fault and it backfires on me when I hit the scale.    I think Im fine for tomorrow, but I do so much better when I eat on a schedule.

I had some different old friends Ive also been procrastinating catching up with.  Folks Ive not seen in a LONG time and keep thinking if I wait, I'll be that much thinner.  Funny now that I bought that body shaper, I feel so much better about dressing up to meet with them.  Need to start opening the social window.
Wow busy day for me. finally get a chance to sign in.  That trampoline is kicking my butt.  Im all huffing and puffing after 15min of jumping.  Still haven't done a very good job of getting on the wagon.  Easter candy is gone as of tonight.  so weigh in day is a start over day for me.  Thinking of doing phase 1 for a week so Ill need a lot of support ladies.   this is like Christmas all over again...160 must be a set weight for me Im either 2lbs over it or 2 lbs under it.  I refuse to give in to it.
