Its funny that I cant make myself buy the phase2 dinners, the phase1 are too good as is.  Just reading about your day, I can SO relate to the nuts.  For me, Im sure its the oil/salt thing.  I havent bought them or PB for month, but when I tried to stop getting them I'd break down with control promises that I'd end up breaking.

Thursday weighin - less then 24 hours to go.

Wow...I thought you left for vacation this morning. There is nothing better than coming home to fresh clean sheets. That is definitely a great feeling.

Looks like you guys all weigh in tomorrow. Let me know how much you lost overall, it will motivate me! Smile I'm having crunchy food withdrawals but also feeling great that my cake cravings are disappearing.

Sue

My new bagels are here! My new bagels are here! My new bagels are here!!!! I was never so excited to see that cheerful brown UPS truck pull up out front!!! I rushed out to the curb and grabbed my big box o' bagels and rushed inside!  As part of my dinner on Wednesday night, I lovingly halved, carefully toasted, and then carefully measured and spread two tablespoons of reduced fat Philadelphia chive n' onion cream cheese ... then topped both bagel halves with a few sprinkles of sundried tomato. Oh, YUMMMMM!!!! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!  I haven't had a bagel in soooooo long ... it was chewy and multigrainy and oh, so satisfying!!!!!

The bagel in question is a "Perfect 10" multigrain bagel from Western Bagel ... and I ordered mine online (6 packages) at LINK.  Unlike other bagels I've had, this one has three wonderful things going for it: (1) LOW CARB! (just 10 net carbs per bagel); (2) HIGH FIBER (9g of fiber per bagel); and (3) HIGH PROTEIN (a whopping 18g of protein per bagel!) All that with only 2g of fat and 15% of my daily iron ... not too shabby, huh!?  I shared one bag with a girlfriend, popped the open bag in the fridge, and tucked the other 4 bags in the freezer .... yum yum yum yum yum!  Oh, and they are just 140 calories each ... so with the 60 calories of cream cheese ... I can have a bagel n' shmear for just 200 calories ... WOOOO HOOO!!!!

MOLLY

Holy frigging crap My trampoline flew over my fence and hit my neighbors house last night and punched a hole in their roof.  Lots of insurance claims is going to go down today.  LOL. No one got hurt thank god.  Weight today is 160.
sarah, Oh my god!!!!  There must have been fierce winds last night!!!! At least no one got hurt!

Sue, good job getting through the cravings!!  ?Not long to go now before Phase 2!!

Rachael, hope your tummy feel ok!  And I know the feeling of coming home to nice clean sheets!

Bee, how are you finding the morning workouts??  During the summer last year I did get up early and go to the gym at 6.30am!!  at the moment, I am stuck to my bed!  BTW, what are soy nuts??

Didnt go training last night after, went to the boyfriends instead.  He had dinner ready for me when I got there and then stayed on the couch for the evening. Was great.  didnt get to weigh myself though, so will do that tomorrow.  Training again tonight - I nearly feel tired just thinking about it!

OMG Molly -- You crack me up and put a smile on my face first thing in the morning. Oh, how I can so relate and would just die for a bagel these days!!! And you described the event in such detail I could practically chew the bagel myself!

Getfitgirl (so sorry-I can't remember everyone's name) - You must have had some horrific wind last night to move the trampoline....wow....must have been close to tornado winds! I've had my grill and patio furniture move around but a trampoline! And it went OVER the fence onto a ROOF! Holy Moly!

I am same weight as when I started SBD and up about 4 lbs from when I started CC back in January. Trying to remain optimistic so on the positive side, I haven't smoked a cigarette since 1/2/08 and have definitely gotten myself into an exercise routine. I will hold out on SBD for another week and see what happens.

Have a good day! Its suppose to reach SEVENTY DEGREES today  - so excited! ~~ SueSmile

Okay me neighbors insurance company has deemed it "an act of god" and not my fault.  Here's the clincher.  They have a 990 dollar deductible...do I pay it or not.  technically it was my trampoline but not my fault for it flying through the air.  I mean part of me thinks "darn that's to bad,  but that's the reason for having insurance and if you choose to have a deductible then its on you".  On the other hand I don't want to have any hard feelings going around between me and my neighbor and should pay all of it(which I dont have the $ BTW.... well I would if I dont pay my bills).  I think either way I'm screwed.  What do you all think?
It was an "Act Of God".  Nobody should expect someone to pay their deductible for something for which the person had nothing to do with and was no fault of.

Just because it was a trampoline pulled from your property and not a tree pulled from theirs going through their roof had nothing to do with you - it was just circumstance.
BTW that sure puts things into perspective here.  Some of my backyard fencing was torn down and such a big piece in my driveway, didnt think I could leave to weigh in at clinic.  Stupidly I drove over it, crossing my fingers for risk of nails facing up but no problem luckily.  At 3am by candlelight, I was up toweling water coming in the house to protect it from soaking in and ruining my Pergo floor.  Took forever and am sleep deprieved.

Driving to clinic, I saw expect things but something very peculiar - bending.  Two traffic lights werent removed but bent in half so the still stood from the ground but then bent down touching the sidewalk.  There was a news team when I drove by.

333.5 weighin, 1 lb is okay after big loss last week but bumping up expectations for next week.  Molly- 200cal bagel with cream cheese, thats some deal!  140 is less then many 2slices of bread.
They are upset now.  She already hinted that I should pay it for her but never came out and asked directly.  Legally I dont think I have to pay her any thing, but I dont want to start a fued with them either.  I do have to live next to them and this could start trouble...This SUCKS!!!!

You were not NEGLIGENT.  If you had been negligent, then you would be legally and morally obligated to pay for the damage directly caused by your negligence.  Negligence is the failure to use reasonable and proper care in connection with something you own, or something you do. (As in not paying attention while driving, or following too closely, and rear-ending someone.)

If you KNOW you have a sick tree and you KNOW your tree is very close to their house and then you negligently fail to remove or strengthen the tree and it falls on their roof, then you were negligent.

Merely owning a trampoline and keeping it in one's own backyard is not negligence. It is normal, it is reasonable, it is lawful.

THEIR desire to have you pay for something that is not your responsibility is understandable, yet at the same time it is UNREASONABLE.  If you had done something NEGLIGENT, then you would need to pay damages.

You have NO legal, ethical or moral responsibility to pay for their deductible.

* takes off lawyer hat and returns happily to her bagels *

MOLLY

If your trampoline had been hurled through their roof by a stranger who snagged who had no permission - wait, thats what happened except the stranger was high storm winds.  Your nicer then I - if the insinuation had been thrown at me, I wouldve took offense at the suggestion I pay for something freak storm winds did.  So how did your trampoline make out?

I got the fridge wraps - I had thought you could only eat one because it say it contains two wraps on the front.  Didnt realize they were both in the total calories.  They were fine but not up to the froz breakfast one.  Has ceaser and having bacon/ turkey tomorrow.

Sooo sleepy - going to bed early hopefully.
BTW

Took a photo today, so far one each 4 months.  I put all 3 side by side for a photo in my profile.  Bad phone camera but if you click the new pic in my profile to enlarge it, its easier to tell some difference.

Jayne, you look fab!!

Sarah - I am inclined to agree with Jayne & Molly.  what does your hubby say??  But if you feel bad (and can afford it) you can offer to pay some, but NOT ALL - afterall there insurace company deemed it "an act of God".

Weight is 131lbs!
Jayne you look wonderful!  Well my trampoline is toast,  but I managed to find the 1-800 number to call for replacement parts.  I was kind of hoping it was fine but 1/2 of the frame is bent and one pole.  not to bad for flying through the air.  Good morning All!

Jayne - You can see A LOT of changes. You can see definitely see that you have lost a lot of weight. Wow....I am so inspired by you. Your weight loss chart really is so impressive. Did you do it all with the SBD? I weighed again today but I still haven't lost anything. :)

Sarah - what did you decide to do? I can feel your pain of your situation with your neighbors. It is definitely a no-win situation for either of you. I'm not sure how I would handle it either. I understand that legally there is no responsibility on your part but we do things all the time just cause we feel like it is the right thing to do. Just do what feels right to you. If you offer to pay some, your neighbors may still not be happy. Do what makes you happy. :)
