Sarah, the trampoline followed by the car. So sad about the dog but know it can happen. With your dentist pending, you seem to be having some financial bad luck.
With last weeks 1 lb, way to anxious about tomorrow and trying to reel in my expectations.
Dragged out and dusted off the foreman grill. Wasnt sure if I'd keep defrosting chicken breasts or toss them but hey, not dry! I also did 3 thighs and wondering if I can justify eating it - if so, can paper towel and remove visible fat to help. Its a left over from Kiki who wouldnt eat breasts much like I used to not be willing to do. So manufacturer John Soules isnt the only source for not-dry chicken breast (but boy are they handy).
So weigh-in for today - 128lbs!
Still in the middle of TOM, although I am coming to the end of it!! Am getting near my 1st mini goal though!!
Sarah, sorry to hear about the dog & the car!! at least your hubby is ok though!! Congrats on the mystery lb - hope its still gone today!

Crashed early last night and awake early as well. Thinking how early would the clinic be open since its techinically a dept within the hospital. I once arrived before they opened and someone coming thru the hospital let me in so I plan to head out shortly with not much more to do this early anyway.
I left the dentists office almost in tears. How do those people sleep at night.... charging what they do. I paid 155 dollars for them to take one Xray and tell me yes you need a root canal which I allready knew. Grrrrrrr going back to have it done this afternoon and giving them more money. not to mention that my neighbor showed up yesterday wanting more money cause they are broke and she has lots of health problems and cant work Blah blah blah. I wanted to scream at her and tell that I didnt have to pay for anything and shes lucky she got $250 cause were nice(not feeling nice at the moment though LOL )
Sarah - Sorry to hear lousy day. That sucks and I hate the dentist and had an abcess (sp?) in my back tooth and actually popped it myself...I HATE THE DENTIST! LOL...Its time consuming, I hate the music, I hate that I don't have a clue what they are doing (even when they show me an xray!) and I just hate that darn drill! And....I definitely would not be in the mood to deal with the neighbors! When having dental work done, you should be able to wear a shirt saying 'don't mess with me, I have a tooth ache!"
Anyway, I can't get a reading on my weight. I weighed 167.5 when I woke up; took a shower and weighed 166.0; immediately weighed again and it was 166.5, again 166.5, and again 167.0. Whatever, I know one pound this way or that way will not make a difference in my shape but would like to think it was 166.0. I hate dieting. I also stopped tracking my calories last week when I started SBD but think it is time to start again. Also, its just about that time of the month so hoping that will shed about EIGHT POUNDS. LOL. have a great day.
Ohio - I find it amazing that are eating right while away and you are giving me lots of ideas for when I am away from house. I guess its all about being prepared and thinking in advance of what you are going to eat. Thanks.![]()
Rachael - lots of protein there should help with your appetite. You sure know how to raise the bar when it comes to vacationing - will keep you in mind if I ever get out to FL for my trip.
Sarah, your neighbor has nerve! I'd have told her, "Sorry I cant help you out but please donate to my dental fund?" Im waiting until June when my dental on serious treatment drops to 50% - looking at a root canal bridge that will hit about $2000 and for a cheapy like me, I know everything else I could spend that on. I would just focus on that 159 - awesome.

Sarah, really think that your neighbour has some cheek!! You have enough on your plate without your neighbour doing that and dumping her problems on your shoulders!! I like Jayne's idea!

When my lawn guy fixed my fence, a small section fell off and Ive procrastinated telling him. Now its going to sound like it wasnt his work but the rain/wind storm that did it. Then again, if it really comes through town heavy tonight might actually lose more of the repair work. So mad I didnt call him though - procrastination is one of my huge handicaps. Alice has been so patient - took a month after she intervened for me to get started dieting and months until she showed up for walking to get me exercising.
Mini naps today - wondering if it will be a late late night tonight.
Hey...weighed this morning and came up with 166...yeah...wouldn't dare hop on scale again to see if a different came up...could be much worse and i just wouldn't want to see it.
That stinks about the fence but we all procrastinate...I guess if we didn't, we would only need to lose one or two pounds.
I decided at lunch that I would walk to Barnes and Nobles and buy the south beach diet book. I've been putting it off cause i think I could fill a room with books and literature on how to lose weight! -- jenny craig menus, weight watchers journals, weight watchers point books, atkins books -- you name it, i got it....but decided to buy SBD cause I am not really seeing any difference b/t SBD and Atkins except that I am a little more salad...I have my beans......and I can have nuts doing the first phase. i think on atkins you can't have that stuff. Anyway, I was hoping I would lose more than I had. I am always so optimistic when I start something new but reality sets in very quickly :(
