Sounds like your having a blast Rachel.  Funny about the fries...sometimes it feels like restaurants are out to get you.   Hope that sea water doesn't upset your tummy.

Day one of phase one went very well.  I feel better today .  I was crabby yesterday and didn't have a lot of energy.  I loaned my book out and it went to Alaska I don't think Ill be getting it back anytime soon LOL.  I do hope it works for my step niece.

Hay everyone - Day 6 of Phase 1 and going great! I haven't lost any more weight since Friday - still the 4 lb though! Cravings have totally gone although it was really tough over the weekend. Had dinner at my mums on Sat night and she always forces stuff on me but I managed to resist. Also went to Charles parents last night and was serve cottage pie (a uk speciality - Minced beef in a tomato and veg sauce with mashed potato on top and cheese). So I did have it, I know its not phase 1 but I couldn't be rude. Will be back on track this week.

Also, a bit bunged up in the tummy region, any ideas?

I was wondering Stephie how you were doing - thinking a second good week is ahead of you! Increasing vegs might help with your stomach.  Beans are high in fiber but I also notice for me sometimes my stomach feels weird after eating them.

I went to junior college in Clearwater - pretty beaches.  Funny about your book Sarah - did you realize Molly will be heading off with hubby in a week to Alaska.  Coinkidink! 

My visit today was fun catching up. We went to Cheddars Restaurant which does not do nutriional listings.  I got the Tilapia grilled with brocolli and a potato.  I told them to hold the oil but it looked suspiciously shiny (paranoia?). 
Good morning.  Well I feel great today.  Its strange not to have a scale.  Im used to weighing every day... Im a little scared that Ive gained or something.

Stephie.  Good Going on phase one.  Maybe some fiber pills or a stool softener will help.  I know what you mean about cravings.  My family wanted icecream last night.  Lucky I had no sugar added fudge pops handy so I felt like I had a treat to.

Hope you had a good weekend!!  My boyfriend had a graduation on Friday (its for a course he completed with his job), so had a really long weekend.  Did give into temptation, so trying to get back on the wagon!!  Had a yummy ice-cream cone yesterday - havent had one in ages!!!

Stephie, you might want to try senacott.  when I did SB, I found I got a bit clogged up so I went to the pharamacy.  When the girl there recommended that - I told her that I didnt want a laxative but she said it was a fibre pill, and it did help to get things moving!

Hi Gina  The weekend seemed long to me too.  But that's cause of phase one  Its amazing how fast you can get that carb addiction going again.  My hubby came home for a while but had to leave early this morning.  Hes been working some long hours lately

Glad you got some hubby time Sarah and that your doing so well with Phase1.  Stephie, I just tried laxatives for the first time Friday and taking full strength full 2 pill dosage twice as allowed set me up for cramping all day so I support Gina on going in mildy.  Next time if I need it, one pill once and then going from there. 

Gina, good look with getting on track and no offense but your so close to goal, Im thinking occasional treats would be more 'allowed' for you especially a worthy one.

When I left my friends yesterday, I thought 'where else can I go?' LOL.  Just putting in the effort to look extra nice - hair, makeup, clothes :P. 
So far so good today... though Im feeling hot  I dont remember this happening last time.  At least its helping me to drink more water LOL

Dont know why I thought you were already back home Rachael - must have misinterpreted one of your posts.  Sounds like youve done better than good Rachael!

Im really impressed by you and phase1 Sarah!  Eventhough going from phase2 to phase1 means you already have the prior experience, it still seems harder then going to phase1 from bad eating.  Maybe because starting a diet Ive guilt while phase2 to phase1 doesnt have that push from guilt.

Interesting about feeling hot - Alice asked me today if I'd experienced hot flashes (Im 45) and I havent.  Said since I never got morning sickness, I might skip hot flashes too but thats probably denial.  She also dropped off Smooth Move Senna tea.  Im pretty skeptical of herbal things but keeping an open mind.

Ok so I may have cheated a tiny bit last night -

Found out that Charles (fiance) has passed his exam to become a chartered surveyor (culmination of 7 years worth of work). SO so so happy for him so we had to celebrate (these things dont happen everyday). So cheated the Phase 1 with lots of peanuts, a slice of pizza and a glass of champage. Weight has gone up 0.5lb today but I am still ok as I am going to carry on today as I was.

No!  Just kidding Steph and sounds like a happy night.  That you were able to limit/ control your cheat and not just 'blow it' I think will pay off in a loss still, especially if you continue on strict.  Sure the strictest version of phase1 brings the strongest loss but special life moments happens and as long as your week long calories are still under, you should still come in with a loss for Thursday weigh in.  Granted it can depend on the person and their body chemistry but thinking good thoughts for you and the scale.

Weather is so kooky.  Pulled my fleece out Sunday and wearing it this morning again.  Drive safe Rachael and hoping those scratches are begining to heal - sounds painful!  Sarah, are those carb desires taming down? 

Lunch date tomorrow and one Thursday.  Since I ate out with a friends Sunday and will again Thursday, will offer my home up for lunch tomorrow to cut down on the $$ and can use my whole grain bread for an acceptable sandwich option for me plus sides for them like chips or potato salad.  Wont want leftovers though since Ive cleansed the kitchen of non SB items.

This is totally off the subject of of dieting but ewwww my cat brought a HUGE RAT in the house last night ALIVE.  She played with it then lost it.  So now the thing is in my house.  I want it out of here but I'm fresh out of traps

I don't like them either.  My cat likes to torture things.. she plays with them till there limping around and then goes for the kill.  In her defence the thing was the size of both of my fists and shes a small cat.  Normally she good at this sort of thing.   I think the rat is going to have babies which means it needs to be out of my house before it does that LOL.
Definately!!  You dont want it nesting in the house!!!

i have friends who wouldnt say in a house if they knew there was a mouse on it let alone a rat!!!
