Yesterday I over slept with those coyotes keeping me up half the night.  kids were late to school yesterday.  Im usaully try to get them ready at this time also... today they are ready early for a change.
I'm not the best sleeper in the world. Keith's daughter has pets, 2 of them are diegos (a kind of south american chipmunk I think). I've likened it to Chinese water torture because they are constantly chewing on the cages to get out. Its a ping-ping sound that just drives me batty sometimes! So I feel for you with the coyotes!
My kids try to talk me into more pets but I dont think I could handle any more.  Our rabbit is turning mean and will try to bite you if you put your hand in the cage.  thinking of getting rid of it and getting a new one.  My husband wants to eat it but Ashton doesnt want him too.  not that I blame her but what else is there to do with it.  If I set it free it will die in the wild. Im thinking thats what is drawing the coyotes to.

Angie, weather is fairly miserable here too, but at least its not raining!!!!

Sarah, you really are up early!!!  Any news on getting rid of your coyote problem??  As for the rabbit, it might well be drawing the coyotes but as for eating the rabbit........ nooo!!

Sarah, if the rabbit is outside its definitely attracting the coyotes...could you put it in your garage for the time being?

Gina, yeah we are looking forward to another really bad night. So cold I have had to put the heating on during the day!

hey everyone!

oh my goodness don't eat the bunny! lol eh i know lots of people eat rabbit i just have weird thing against eating cute animals. i wont eat dear, duck, veal, lamb...that kinda thing haha I know I'm odd.

sooo i weighed in this morning. and i gained a pound this week! what the heck! last saturday i was down to 157 i lost 3 pounds in 3 days. Today i am at 158. I did everything right i dont get it. The only thing i could see is i am winding down on TTOM but doesn't that water weight go away after the first few days? I swear my body hates me.
No Rachel their not protected. but I live in city limits and your not supposed to fire a weapon even though we did once to kill a rattle snake in the yard ....no one turned us in luckily.  I live next to a flood zone so there's a big field behind my house so lots of critters running around.  170 is just around the corner.

Rabbit is in a better mood this morning.  I'm wondering if my son was harassing it yesterday and made it mad.  will have to have a stern talk with him.
Hey jen could be just water retention I know thats what mine is from but I agree that you dont have to like it LOL

Ohio45, I hear you!  I wouldn't have gained ANY weight a few years ago.  What changed?  Age, I think I execerise less, and definitely sit more at work.  I'll have to be more like my mother, watching everything I eat and exercising religiously.

I was bad and ate some wasabi peas.  Yummy!  But they made the scale go up 3 pounds.

Super delayed weigh in from my norm sched - got caught up on the forum.  360.1 - doesnt seem the exercise made much difference but I know its not hurting things and the point is to get my endurance up anyway. 

Thats a major jump blue femme - good for you!  Thats quite a move from your vacation weight Rachael.  Hang in there Sarah - your getting closer to your goal from months back but sorry its dragging for you - next week? :D  Looking forward to 150s next week and thanks all for weighing in - all else welcome to still post them!

I thought the same thing - dont eat the bunny, dont eat the bunny!  After getting back tried the fiber in my drink. 

First sip I could detect it and no biggie but after that, cant even tell.  Guess its just the dicscipline of taking it. The vitamin on the other hand - argh!  Since childhood, always a bother to fill a pill touch your throat on the way down.  My daughter got perscriptions yesteday though and one of those is HUGE.  She also got nasonex and now I know how they could afford to advertise all the time $$$$. 

Down to 183 today - at least I'm going in the right direction finally.  Have upped my exercise because I'm feeling so much better so am hoping for a better result next week.

Rachael - metabolism sure changes after menopause!  Since menopause I am more active, eating better food and portions and my weight barely moves.  However, I will persevere because I hate how I look and how old I feel when illness hits.  Certainly I am my father's daughter, physically taking after him and his family; Mom at 88 looks 70 and is extremely fit and petite.  However, all Dad's family lived well into their 90's - Dad is 94 and although wheelchair bound and physically frail his mind is sharp and he loves a good conversation and debate so I guess all is not lost!

We are in the middle of a January thaw - temps mild, snow all gone and huge wind storm yesterday.  Snow is forecasted so back to normal January in a few days.

My God is the phrase forbidden fruit true or what! Had a hard time finding anything to eat lately (I know I wish it had lasted), but got the cravings for fruit, so had strawberries, an orange, probably a good 2.5 cups of grapes (throughout the day) then I go on here for calories, because yes I confess I had to pieces of pizza since there was nothing in the house....I didn't realize how many carbs were in my loving fruits, yes I know the sugar thing, but now I am thinking great I am really on a phase 1 now with no modifications....

And someone once told me if you put lemon in your water it will help your cravings....well I am one to tell you it did squat except I reached for more grapes. Wouldn't be so pissed off at myself (excuse the language), but waiting for Keith's daughter to get home and since she's staying at her mom's tonight, its too late to go to the gym...so no exercise today either.

Just a little perturbed with the whole day and I don't know if its getting any warmer where you are Gina, but its bitter cold down here, no clouds in the sky so the temps are really dropping!!!

Angie, splurging on fruit may not be phase1 but it is diet friendly.  One day though, dont let it get you down.  All that exercise you racked up to know has been great!!  Be sure your getting enough food so you dont have hunger working against you.  Mustard has turned off my appetite when is I eat some dabs of it by itself, that and toothpaste or mouthwash.   I dont think all cravings are created equal either :D.

Way to keep it moving Kathryn!  Im already thinking of next week too since I didnt break 360 yet.  That metabolism slow down must be frustrating but the scales moving, just not as fairly as it could.   I agree Rachael about older women - I'd watch my mom over the years eat so reasonably and think how I'd be dropping weight if I was on her meal plan. 

I didnt pay enough attention to the fiber directions about drinking promptly.  Sipped through the hours and at the bottom of my drink the fiber gelled.  I was able to stir it up but it went from not seeming there to pulpy. It kind of repelled me but I tried to think, orange juice pulp.  Still, goosebumps finishing it. 
Jayne I always take the pill form liquide kinda grossed me out.   Ive done 3 mini workouts so far today almost an hour total.  goin to do one mor tonight... I kind of like spacing them out ....easier to deal with robyn this way to.
Hey everyone...hope all is well, time is so short I can't/ don't have time to scan all 9 pages!!! That is wonderful that this string is going to be as big as the last!!!

Small update on me...I have gained even more weight I am at 188 now!!! I don't know what is going on but I have put it in the hands of Jenny Craig and my gym. I don't have the will power or the strength to do this on my own. I have tried and we see what that has done for me.

All of you are an insperation to me and I know that once I get past my own emotional walls I will be able to do it too....I will be checking back and saying hello, you all are wonderful role models!!!

Angela- don't get discouraged, you're using avenues to help you and there is absolutely no shame in getting all the help you need. 

Jayne, glad to see I wasn't the only one with the toothpaste thing, brushing teeth for me had gotten up to 10 times a day just to try to curb the binge. Yuck, the mustard thing... I feel for you there.  Once I got a dap of it on my finger from eating a hot dog (pre-diet) and so I just licked it up, ooohh yuck I thought I was going to gag and yet I put the stuff on a hot dog...needless to say maybe I will try that to steer clear of eating.

But on one good note, I got my run in, so I am not off the training just yet!!!!!

Gotta run, Alei is reading me a book on Egypt and the Pyramids, she loves history and school...I'm lucky hope I can make that stick through the teenage years (and again I say I hope)!

 
What are wasabi peas?  Im starving right now but its to late to eat..hate hate hate it when this happens.  taking rachels advise and having a cup of green tea.  BTW bunny is in a better mood today must have been PMS or somthing maybe shes in heat but dont know how to tell on a rabbit... going to look it up tomorrow.  Good night see yall later!
