It's been a long year of hard work, but, 50 pounds later, I wouldn't take a single second of it back. 50 pounds. Size 12/14 to size 0/2. Never in my life did I think that would ever be possible. There were days I thought I'd never get through... days where I thought I'd never be any different from how I'd always been. But I guess that's how life is, huh? You can't let days like that get you down-- you just gotta keep on truckin' and then, before you know it, everything is different.
What do I do now? I'll keep using CC in order to monitor my intake/burn. But it's almost incomprehensible to think that I need to do something different now, when I've been on a deficit for over a year. I made a lifestyle change, and that change won't be going anywhere. I will still eat healthy (just eat a little more, I guess!) and I will still work out. I already have some toned muscles going on because I strength train as much as I do cardio. But now I suppose I will eat more protein and focus on more muscle to get that last bit of extra body fat down.
God. It's been a whole year... I can't believe I've finally done it. I can't believe it's me looking in the mirror. I feel like a different person. I feel like I accomplish anything. I feel utterly empowered.
I'll be 23 in a matter of weeks, and in the best shape of my life. I've made a lifestyle change that will stick for the rest of my life, and I'll be happier and healthier for it for years and years to come.
Thanks, CC. I couldn't have done it without you.

From your entry I see that you feel great, too. That's just as important as looking great.
It's interesting to read that you have wholeheartedly embraced the lifestyle change and that you now cannot imagine living any other way.
I'm a little over halfway toward losing 114 lbs. and you are an inspiration to me. I'm sure many others will get a morale booster from your story.
I am so glad that I saw your post. I used CC a couple of years ago to drop ten pounds, but since then I have put on 20 and my weight is getting out of control (because I had more to lose than ten the first time!). But reading success stories, and hearing the excitement in your writing is absolutely the best motivation I can imagine. Thank you and congratulations!
