I'm just curious...

Which category do you fall in?

A. First time you've ever been on a diet and using calorie-count for less than two weeks

B. First time you've ever been on a diet, using C-C for more than two weeks -- had significant weight loss at first, now experiencing slower, steady weight loss

C. First-timer, on C-C more than 2 weeks, continued rapid weight loss, the weight is melting off

D. First time you've ever been on a diet, regardless of how long you've been using C-C, you've stalled out, have been plateau'd for more than 25 days.

E. Been on every diet known to wo/mankind, using C-C for less than two weeks, getting results

F. Been on every diet known to wo/mankind, using C-C for more than two weeks, still getting results, but slower

G. Been on every diet known to wo/mankind, regardless of how long you've been using C-C, you've stalled out, have been plateau'd for more than 25 days.

H. Are within 3-5 pounds of your maintenance weight, using C-C successfully for maintenance

I. Other, explain briefly

Also, are you following any other weight loss/fitness program in addition to counting your calories? If so, what program?

I would fall into the F category. My weightloss has definetly slowed down. I was losing about 3lbs a week for the first 6 wks. But now I am losing about a pound a week.
yeah.. i get an A!
oh wait... that might not be a good thing this time
;-)
Hehe, sorry to be a pain already, but I. It's the first time I've ever really been on a diet and I've been using C-C for about a month now, and my weight loss has been slow and steady the entire time.

I'm not following any strict programs, but I've been to the gym at least three times a week since I started on C-C. I'm going again at 3 this afternoon :) Too bad I'm leaving school next week and I don't have any equipment at home. I'm looking into getting an elliptical, if I can find a place to put it!
I am an F and today I feel like one
I'm a big F here.  Slowed down some, but still losing about 1lb a week.
This will be the only time in my life I will say this -

I get an F!
F, definitely an F.  F for freaking fabulous!
I'm a D

D. First time you've ever been on a diet, regardless of how long you've been using C-C, you've stalled out, have been plateau'd for more than 25 days.
I'm C
I'm an F. Have lost 40 pounds in 3 months, but slowing down now.
I.

Weight loss as depicted by my trend line is good and steady and relatively fast.  Actual loss reflects 2-3 week plateaux, followed by one rapid drop, followed by another plateau.

Been on diets before, nothing named or formal.  They work.  I was trying to do this without obsessing, but not obsessing didn't work, so here I am, obsessed.
I am a sad G. I haven't been able to restart after a birthday weekend at the end of March.
Definitely F.

Tried many diets or "lifestyle changes" before, never successfully, never for more than 2 weeks without cheating.

Counting calories for 6 weeks now, lost 14 lb, never been on a real frustrating plateau (only for 3 days) and still absolutely motivated!!
I.  I've been on CC for 4 weeks and have pretty much had stop and go steady weight loss. I work out at the gym atleast 5 times per week and count calories, thats it.

OH this is my first official diet... never watched what I ate or worried about exercise before. Guess thats what got me here.

F. Been on every diet known to wo/mankind, using C-C for more than two weeks, still getting results, but slower

I have definintely been yoyo dieting since high school and nothing has worked (or it would initially but ALWAYS gained back) I think the difference is actually learning how to have a healthy lifestyle, not just to drop a few pounds before the summer or something. And i LOVE the support here :) you are all awesome!
oh, and i also walk at least 3 days a week for 30-40 minutes with a coworker and i work out at the gym, rotating between arms and legs/abs and doing rotating cardo equipment... my weight loss is slow but im also gaining muscle so i think this has a lot to do with it. have a great weekend everyone!!!
I am an I .... For several reasons:

1. (most importantly..) This is not nor has it EVER been a "diet" for me.  It is a life-changing attitude adjustment to learn how to take care of myself.  A "diet" is something people go on and off of...and when they go off of it, the results tend to go with them.  I refuse to be part of that.  Food is nutrition only.  I have learned to treat it as such.  Thus, it's a lifestyle change I embrace.

2. I've been here for 9 months...next week starts my 10th month.  I committed one full year to CC to learn more about how many calories I actually need to lose weight, survive and have fun.

3. I refuse to fall back into bulimia tendencies.  I am currently at goal and am following sensible maintenance calories!!!

3. I am following a fitness program to fit my lifestyle.  If I don't like it, I won't do it.  I'm a triathlete and love spending time swimming, biking and running!

Love to you all....it's a GREAT life change here, not a DIET.
ok I fall in the B and H category!  I had some great weight loss and now its slowed down since Im close to my maintenance weight

and Nomore excuse-where have you been lately???  :)
Also an I

First time I've ever been on a diet, I've been using C-C for more than two weeks (almost two months now), and I've been losing quite slowly. But I think as I get into a steady workout regimen I will start losing quicker.
i'm the first one to post i think without a category..

i've been on every known diet (almost), have been using CC for 3 months now (more than 2 weeks) am seeing results and am losing weight just as quick as before.. (about 3-4 pounds a week still)  but i'm also under a drs care..
