What's for dinner?
I cannot decide what to make for dinner. My boyfriend never gives me an answer when I give him choices it's always "uhh whatever you want to make" so I am asking you guys cause I am sure we are all familiar with yummy foods.
I am at 799 calories today
Fat - 29.9% (27 grams)
Protein - 15.5% (31 grams)
Carbohydrates - 54.6% (109 grams)
Should I make
A) Whole wheat pasta, mild itialian sausage (light) with pasta sauce and zuichini
b) whole wheat pasta (I just really want some pasta for dinner!!), garlic shrimp, squash, broccoli stir-fry type deal
I also have the supplies to litterally make anything. I have everything from chicken breasts to fish sticks in my stores. But note I already had two hotdogs today so no more of those! : P
While one option is probably the "healthier" way to go one is just good'ol comfort food. What do you guys think?
I'd go with the pasta and shrimp- it just sounds really good to me! Good luck! I HATE trying to figure out what to have for dinner- I never know how many I'll be cooking for cause my hubby and daughter both have crazy schedules and 80 % of the time they never know if and when they'll be home for dinner, plus they've both gotten pickier as the years go on so I end up relying on pre- packaged dinners such as those from Schwans or Bertolli or Contessa- they may not always be the healthiest- a lot are high in sodium unfortunately, but in a pinch they cook up quickly. It also makes it hard to know how many calories to "save" for dinner if I don't know ahead what I'll be having for dinner. One night I ended up only with 900 consumed after dinner so then I had to find extra stuff to eat since my doctor wants me to eat at least 1200 cal. a day. Sorry I'm rambling on here- hope your dinner turns out well! Dea
If you really want pasta and shrimp that is what you should have.
I am going to have home made Chicken Pot Pie. Only about 225 calories per serving and that is about a 1-1/2 cups. Good luck with dinner!!!
I'd go with B. Shrimp is yum!
