whats for dinner?

Quote  |  Reply

it seems like i can get through the day pretty well...that is, until dinner time. I always seem to be lazy and cook up something easy like pasta. i also have the worst habit of going for seconds (sometimes even thirds..eek!)

any good healthy/simple dinner ideas? and perhaps some self control tips for not going for seconds?

If you like pasta then have pasta for dinner. Make ONLY enough for 1 portion, no more. Mix in some lean protein, veggies, and tomato sauce. Have it with a WW roll or slice of toast with garlic and a wee bit of butter. Its light and instant portion control because you only have what is prepared.

I'm having fish, steamed veggies, and roasted red potatoes...yum :)

I'd second only cooking one portion of pasta.  Also, try having a side of steamed or stir-fried veggies or a salad to help fill you up and make the meal more nutritious.  If you want quick, frozen veggies are super easy to steam in the microwave.
