a breakfast over an open fire at the edge of a lake - pickeral in butter, morels with onions and cream & fiddleheads
mac & cheese
I agree w/harls321- MAC AND CHEESE!! For me, the shells and cheese kind- not the powder. Okay...and french fries :)
A couple of months ago, I would have said that my favourite food is potato chips, or cookies, particularly shortbread cookies.
However, in the past few weeks, I have been swapping the ole junk out for peaches, persimmons and nectarines. I have a peach and a nectarine at my desk all the time.
Ohhh, and I also, for some bizarre reason, really love spinach. I mean really, really love it :)

Since I made my life change, I absolutly crave :1- green bell peppers-eat them at least 2x a day, 2-baked potato with FF sour cream and BBQ sauce-eat one daily.
Pineapple or shrimp! I love both. Lucky for me they both are healthy additions to my diet and not junk food. I once found a place with both as pizza toppings. All my friends gave me the weird food comments and thought the idea was gross. Oh well it tasted great either way.
a day of eating favorites:
for breakfast, I love coffee, not black (bleh), but with Davinci Gourmet Sugar Free Buttered Rum syrup and a tablespoon of REAL cream (or Coconut flavored creamer or at least 2 tbsps of half & half)
for lunch, beef fajitas with onions and peppers (tortillas are good, but not needed) and salad with romaine lettuce and fresh spinach, several grape tomatos and red bell peppers and onions with guacamole as the "dressing"
for supper, same as lunch.
for snacks, dark chocolate, plain or with toffee bits or mint or... well, any dark chocolate and frozen mango chunks, and other frozen fruits like pineapples, strawberries and peaches, but mango remains my favorite of those.
to drink, diet cherry coke zero. It's new and it's good. I love cherry coke and keep some Davinci Gourmet Sugar Free Cherry syrup on hand for days I only have regular diet coke around the house.
Now my stomach is growling ;)

Teba-saki chicken wings from this Japanese restaurant near where I live, Furaibo. This is definitely a once in a while treat because if no one stops me, I'll eat the entire plate by myself!

I don't like junk food and I don't like fast food. Nor do I like soda. Packaged, processed food gives me the creeps. I don't have a sweet tooth. The only conventional "unhealthy food" that I can't resist is macaroni and cheese -- scratch, made with bechamel, not the kind in the blue box. And scalloped potatoes, which is basically the same thing except with potatoes instead of macaroni. I have a serious cheese problem. I have never met a cheese I didn't like. Ooh, and bacon. Loves the bacon. I would walk over hot coals for some boutique thick-cut humanely-raised organic applewood-smoked bacon right now. (Happy pigs are delicious.)
But when I dream about food, or have near-uncontrollable cravings, it's for Cobb salad or chicken vindaloo or pho or falafel or raw oysters, never pizza or a Quarter Pounder. I guess I'm lucky that I tend to crave healthier stuff, but I still have an issue with portion control, which is why I'm here.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with my version of twice baked potatoes, baked the potato, then scoop out the inside, mix that with cooked broccoli (probably my fav veggie), chives or scallions, cottage cheese, and cheddar cheese or a mexi mix of cheese. Then mash it up real good and put back in the skins and bake for another 20 minutes. My idea of pure heaven! I only eat them about 1 time every 3-4 months as my fiancee gets sick of them, and I load them up with sour cream too, so not so good for me. But, YUM!
Skinny Cow chocolate fudge ice cream cones - yummy and only 150 calories. Actually, any of the Skinny Cow icecreams are great , much nicer than the Weight Watchers desserts IMHO.
Dates!!! They are sooo tastey... and so hard to risist, and one has 23 calories... Buts thier good for you? It can go either way I guess.
cereal- i love it!! (except for horrible cereal with fruit in it- lol) and it's good for you!!
Sardine and peanut butter sandwich
