I honestly cannot decide! Veggies give me that wonderful healthy, fresh feeling when I eat them, along with filling me up, as do fruits, which also satisfy my sweet tooth. I love the creamy texture of dairy products like ricotta and Greek yogurt (!!) and find it hard to go more than three days without some tangy feta on my salad (I'm trying to slowly become a vegan, and my love for dairy products is not helping). I love veggie burgers and black beans and eat them almost every day, and Trader Joe's savory marinated baked tofu is love. Bread is one of those things I can't eat a lot of, but wraps, cereal, wasa crackers, and homemade tortilla chips are staples in my diet.

I LOVE vegetables- salads, broccoli, asparagus, spinach, eggplant... (I could go on and on).
I also love protein- veggie burgers, chicken, turkey, fat free greek yogurt, cottage cheese, fish.
BUT- I also love carbs. Sandwiches and wraps are an all-time favorite. I LOVE cereal, baked sweet potatoes, rice and pasta...
I'll go with protein. Or carbs. Or veg. Or, or, or...lol. I can't pick. I like things balanced!
i think for me it depends on the day, my mood, and what i'm craving.
somedays i'd say the meat group was my favorite, but other days (like today), i'd say the bread group was my favorite, because i just really love bread.
it's a tie between the meat and bread groups!

- Protein ; because i'm in love w/ PB and cinnamon almonds..and beans..and meat..and you get my point luvvy! :D
- Carbs ; If I didn't have cereal or bread in my life...I would'nt be here right now. Lol.
- Vegetables ; I could live w/ out fruits (which I wont) but I could NEVER live without my veggies!
- Sweets ; Yeah, I know there unhealthy but cinnamon roll's are a god sent from heaven! ^__<
Carbs...Bread, Bread and more Bread. Probably why I'm not losing as fast as I should be. :P

I was vegan for two years, and now meat is probably my favorite food (I spent about six months recovering from never getting enough protein). High protein foods from meat to tofu to poached eggs are the only things I really get honest-to-God CRAVINGS for. I think my brain is trying to ensure I never go vegan again!
I'm going with dairy. If I crave foods, it's usually cheese or ice cream.

Either dairy (I love yogurt, soy milk, & ice cream) or fruits (natures candy!).
Fruits - I prefer them to vegetables! I love fruits which are sweet or slightly sour. They make me feel refreshed and great.
Meat, Beans, Eggs, Legumes, Tofu, and Other Meat Substitutes - I eat eggs, tofu and other meat substitutes (mock meat) the most. They are delicious but I hate it when too much salt is added.
Fats and Sweets - This is nothing but sinful indulging. Haha. Everyone loves the taste of sugar once in awhile. I hate the taste of animal fat, though.
I love all food groups! Except that last "group" you mentioned, hahah. Sadly I honestly think that my least favorite of the categories would be non-startchy veggies, although I LOVE bell peppers and they are probobly one of my top five favorite foods.
I LOVE beans and eggs for proteins, but I also really like chicken and turkey, and tuna and salmon are some of my favorites as well.
Dairy is a big one for me - I probobly have like five or more servings of dairy a day, in the form of cottage cheese or yogurt. I love yogurt so much that a four-cup container lasts me about two days. Needless to say, I got a yogurt maker for Christmas to make my own.

I can turn a simple innocent baked potato into a monstrous pile of fat and calories. Nix on the baked potato bar for me! While I adore potatoes, I'm not fond of french fries, unless they're Arby's curly fries, then I'm doomed again.
