What's your favorite healthy meal?
For some reason I have had absolutely no appetite the last few days. I don't know what my deal is, but nothing sounds good to me, even my favorites. I have to force myself to eat. I think maybe I am getting bored with my usualls. If you guys could post up some of your favorites I think that would help me out!
Thanks!!!!!
Suzana

My absolute fav healthy meal would be the grilled cajun lime tilapia from Applebee's. The seasoning they put on the fish is awesome!! I always get an extra serving of broccoli instead of rice but thats because I LOVE broccoli. I could eat that almost every night :)
I'm going to make chicken fajitas tonight.
Boneless/skinless chicken breast, diced and marinated in lime juice, rice vinegar, a little water, a little brown sugar, chili powder, cayenne, cumin, black pepper, garlic (minced, but powder would work), and any other spices you like. Once chicken has marinated for a few hours, stir fry with sliced veggies (bell peppers, onions)
Serve in light tortillas with organic black beans and pico de gallo...
I'll post a picture on my profile later, and edit with calorie information as soon as I enter this in the recipe analyzer :)
EDIT: I got really hungry and ate the fajitas before I remembered that I was going to take a picture, LOL. I entered them into the recipe analyzer, though, and with black beans and a tortilla it's 393 cals... not too bad. Could be reduced, but I used a full-calorie tortilla...

These both sound good. I love spicy so the fajitas will be great! I work in a mall with an Applebees and I am always stumped when it is time to eat there. So thanks a bunch! Keep 'em comin'
i'm not sure how low cal you are looking for but here are some my favs.
belgian waffles, made w/ pancake mix (krusteaz) all you add is water. -210 cals for 3 4inch waffles top them with sugar free syrup. -35 cals
whole wheat spaghetti-210 cals ground turkey-4oz - 120 cals no sugar added hunts tomato sauce- 35cals
turkey filet ((they come frozen from costco)) only 160 cals, no fat, tons of protein. i'll eat half in a whole wheat wrap, or with steamed veggies, it's a great start to a meal.
hope thats somewhat helpful...

just about anything on the grill (and i will grill anything). i just hate those mid-winter days when the bbq is buried under snow!
a tiny tenderloin steak, chicken breast, or shrimp and scallops on a skewer...even grilled tofu; veggies brushed with olive oil and grilled; baby potatoes or a bit of flatbread. yum!

I think this is my favorite meal (which I'm making Thursday :) )
baked tilapia, asparagus w/lemon juice and a salad or potato.
yum!
