Okay so...I was organizing my collections (we'll get into what those are later!) when I wondered, I'm pretty sure everyone, or almost everyone has a hobby or collection of some sort...baseball cards...wait...do people collect those still? LOL Anyway, tell us, whats yours?
Sara
I collect shot glasses and cats eye seashells :)
I know quite a few people who collect shot glasses. :) but what is a cats eye seashell? lol
I collect care bears....I'm up to about 700 stuffed ones, and all sorts of other care bear stuff...stampers, games, ceramics..
and I collect Cabbage Patch Kids...last time I counted I had 100 of them :)
You can see them here on my YouTube vids...

Ummm.... That's creepy.
I can't say that I specifically collect anything. People tend to gift me things reflecting my totem animals (cats and hippos), but I wouldn't call it a collection.
My hobbies are all sports related. Snowboarding, and kiteboarding. My house looks like a sporting good store, does that count?
I collect dirty dishes in my sink until I'm forced to wash them. Okay, so not really a hobby but I'm not really a collector so I thought I'd throw that in there lol.
I LOVE tigers so I collect tiger figurines.
I also collect books I want to read but once I've read them. . .they are outta here!
I give them away!
My hobby is learning French!
My main hobby is sewing. And hockey. I collect hockey memorabilia, particularly from a former local ECHL team.
I also collect Rubba Ducks.
I collect yo-yo's. I have about 400. I really look for one's with advertising on them, used as promos and giveaways.
I don't collect things. Hobbies... studying languages and drinking soju. haha
I collect those fake credit cards they send you in the mail.
And, I collect pretty pencils that have the designs and colors on them.

They're really small shells, here's a link!
My hobbies change from time to time, but right now I'm dominated by my plants, particularly experimenting with breeding them. The fun I'm having with my miniature plants -- especially my 6" tall Red Robin tomatoes and various peppers. I'll have fresh cherry tomatoes and small peppers all winter, what a joy :)
There's nothing like the excitement of seeing what traits a seedling has inherited from it's parents. Double the excitement for long maturity plants like amaryllis. :)

Ooooh...I know what you mean now! :) My sister used to collect stuff like that, sea glass and stuff until I found a tiny glass dolls head and it totally freaked her out...LOL

My hobby is quilting. My favorite part about it is the cutting and piecing. Last summer I had a queen sized one on the frames and hubby and I went on vacation while his mother watched our kids. When I got back, she told me that her 40pd dog jumped up on it and her nails tore right through the quilt top and backing. I was just so disappointed I haven't gotten back to it yet. It's just standing in the corner, collecting dust...
Now my husband...he collects baseball cards! This past summer we stopped at a yard sale and there was a box of about 200 cards and he wanted to get it (it was $2) I was like "um, why?, but ok". As we drive off and he's looking through his treasures, he tells me that the guy who was selling it had no idea of it's worth. "look at this one" he says "it alone is probably worth almost $2". To each his own I guess ![]()
I enjoy birdwatching. Today on my walk, I saw 13 different species of birds, the two most interesting being Cooper's Hawk and Bewick's wren. I also saw a bobcat and a coyote.
