Okay so I just started slim in 6 and am looking to make an up beat mp3 playlist of some songs that will really get me moving.  What does everyone have in their ipods or playlists that really make them wanna move?

My favorite for working out to are:

Girlfriend-Avril lavgine, it's very hyper and makes me wanna move!

Unwritten- Natasha Bedingfield, it just motivates me and improves my mood, don't ask

Cosy In The Rocket-Psapp, it's the theme song to Grey's Anatomy (my fav show) and hearing it makes me think of Mcdreamy, which motivates me to exercise and look great  so I can get a McDreamy of my own

Suddenly I see, KT Tunstall, I just really like it, and it was on "Why I Wore Lipstick to my Mastectomy", and it makes me want to exercise more so I won't get breast cancer.

Sorry I just got my ipod on Thursday, so I don't have that many songs yet.

I listen to the Veronicas albums.  They have good fast and slow songs.  Also Avril rocks. :)

lately, for the gym, it's been mostly black eyed peas, flogging molly, pussycat dolls and ok go and miscellaneous others.  it works for me.  :-)  anythign that i can dance to really.
I have in my mp3 player a mixture of music but mostly heavy rock. it gets me really pumped up. especially the faster beat songs.

Metallica, Distrubd, Tool, Linkin park, Greenday, Social Distortion, Blue October(not recommended b/c not fast, but i love them), Thirty Seconds to Mars, Flyleaf, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Johnny Cash, i could go on and on. These are some of my favorites.

Especially Metallica, they are fast and hardcore, just like i how i take my workouts.
I actually listen to a lot of travel podcasts - they keep me focused, I know how long they are, and they remind me  that I want to lose weight and get in shape so I can enjoy my vacations more!
get it shawty- lloyd

stunnas- jagged edge

rock ya hips (rmx)- crime mobb

buy you a drink - t- pain

im a flirt (rmx)- rkelly, TI, and tpain.

ballin (rmx)- jim jones

this gets me through my run.
Songs that get me moving are :

Karmastition - Alicia Keys
Faster Kill Pussycat - Paul Oakenfold
Vogue - Madonna
Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi
Flaunt It - TV Rock

But all thats in my playlists at the moment are both of 30 Seconds To Mars' albums.  That works for me too.
I find that funk, disco & some heavy rock get me moving in a big way.
These songs in particular work really well:

Give it to me baby ~ Rick James
Been Caught Stealing ~ Janes Addiction
Firestarter ~ Prodigy
Family Affair ~ Mary J. Blige
Cracklin' Rosie ~ Neil Diamond
Holiday ~ Green Day
Superfreak ~ Rick James
Seven Nation Army ~ White Stripes

Aerosmith - Back in the Saddle

Sheryl Crow - All I wanna do

Jimmy Buffett - Everybodies on the phone & Gypsies in the palace

Smash Mouth - Allstar
Well, my iPod is about to have it's one-year birthday and there's nothing in it because I have YET to use it! :O
I like a mix of some really jumpy heavy metal songs, some gwen stefani, and greenday, here is my playlist:

Feel Good Inc.

Hella Good: No Doubt

What you Waiting For?: Gwen Stefani

Italian Radio: Blue October

What if We Could: Blue October

Miss Alissa: Eagles of Death Metal

Jaded: Green Day

Science: System of a Down

Wicked: Korn

Blind: Korn

Armageddon: Alkaline Trio

American Idiot: Green Day

Your Stories, My Alibis: Matchbook Romance

Playing for Keeps: Matchbook Romance
IF IT'S LOUD, AND HAS A FAST BEAT, IT'S ON MY IPOD SHUFFLE, THE FAST BEATS MAKE ME WANT TO MOVE, EVEN IF IT'S JUST A LITTLE MOVEMENT IT BETTER THAN NOTHING.
