what's more efficient for weight loss?

I have a question.  How will I lose weight more quickly?  An hour of pure cardio (like treadmill, elliptical) or 30 minutes of pure cardio AND 30 minutes of circuit training (like Jillian Michaels' 30 day shred)?

option 2, on separate days.

Definitely option 2.  You will build more muscle and muscle burns calories :).
