Just curious.  Don't be afraid to tell us why!

When I was younger, in kindergarten or so, I was dubbed "Tater Tot" because I was stumpy, round, and golden blonde.

Some people still call me Tater to date, but I tried to get people to lay off once that redneck from the comedy tour became popular.

Miffy :)

Otherwise, for the people who could not tell me and my twin sister apart,  we were called Bert and Ernie. Now it has been shortened to the Ernies lol

Butterball- My oldest brother, who is about 20yrs older always called me this growing-- don't think explanation needed. LOL

KK- My best friend's baby couldn't say "Kristy" and called me "KK", he's 11 now and him and both his brothers and mom still call me that. A few friends that I have met online call me that since I made a ID with that in it. And my sister who was always with me/my best friend/and her son.

Kris-- Shortened form of my name, not many call me that.

I got my nickname years ago, Pynkie.  I was at a sleepover for my friends 10th birthday and we sprayed each other hair with the orange spray that washes out.  I was the only blonde so in the morning it was hot pink, I dind't know it but her dad kepy calling my Pynkie.
Sunshine  :)

When I was little, my mom always called me her "tweetie bird", because of a kindergarten school picture in which she swears my dimpled smile, huge blue eyes, and platinum blond hair made me resemble Tweety Bird from Looney Toons.

Now my hubby calls me simply "bride" a lot.  I like it - much more endearing than just "wife" or "wifey"... Smile

Take your pick:  Fred, Wilma, Dr. Thonx, Eduardo, Charlie...

All and the above.
Butterball reminds me of my nephew, Donavin.  I call him Butters 'cause he looks like Butters from South Park and does the little loo de loo de loo song, and wiggles.
Meagan Bacon.

I really do love bacon... mmmm... there's nothing it won't improve.

Blue - because it's my middle name and always tons of "Amy's" growing up and in college

Lambie - derivative of my last name

Lamb - ditto

my big bro couldnt pronounce my name (LOH-REE-NAH) so my nicknames became nanie and rena. i took ballet for almost 13 years, so my mom calls me rena ballerina. All of my friends call me rena, family calls me nanie or nane.  My dad calls me rat, cuz i used to like to sleep and read under my bed.  My sister calls me chunkamunk.  cuz im chubby and i have chipmunk cheeks.  My roomates/best friends call me larry, (like ashy larry from chapelle show) cuz i forgot to put on lotion and had dry skin one day.  My  friend keri calls me godzilla, cuz we were drunk one night and she pushed me off of the bed and apparantly i made the face that godzilla makes when he falls off of the building?  i dunno.  We also call each other sea hag because of an ill fated trip to santa cruz and a drunken seaweed fight.  My friend marques and my sister both call me jewsican and yamulke, oh! and consuela too.  As in " wash the dishes, consuela"  they're jerks.  lol.  My favorite nickname is the one i gave my sister "titties mcworthless"  lol.  shes really slim, but reeeeaally well endowed and pretty much the laziest person ive ever met, ...sooo yeah:)  I guess i deserve the nickname chunk-a-munk.

rena ballerina... that's so cute!!
i think so, too :)  she still calls me it, unless she's mad. lol
My name, obviously, is Laurie, but my Dad has always called me some form of "George".  Had me believing, when I was six, that when I was born, the doctor told them I was a boy, so they called me "George" for three weeks...then the doctor phoned and said, "OH!  We made a mistake!  You had a girl!!" so they called me Laurie.  :oD  (Talk about MESSING with a six year old's mind!!)

George, Georgette, Georgettaville, Georgina, Curious George, George-Anne (Anne is my middle name).

My Dad STILL calls me "George".  (I'm 40).  He'll start talking to me in a group of people, and they'll all be looking around, like, WTF??  Who's George??  *Laughing*  And he doesn't catch on...he'll look at THEM looking at HIM, and say, "What's your f***ing problem??"  LOLOL!!

My Dad us UBER cool. :oD

Laurie, your story reminded me of another nickname my dad used to use.  He's a doctor, and he used to tell me that he thought the second-most-beautiful name in the world was Celestone Soluspan (apparently it's the name of a medication).  He used to say that if I hadn't been called Meagan Bacon, I'd be Celestone Soluspan.

He also called my sister Cakies... no idea why, but cute :)

LOL!  OMG....could you imagine being named after a medication?!

Yo!  Prozac!  Get yer assets over here!  LOL!

Too funny, Meagan Bacon.  :oD
my mom calls me Lulu and Lulabell. :) I think of a cow when i hear it but i love it anyways.

All the toddlers i know call me rena because thhey can't say the s in serena.

My sister calls me nutskiwhatski for what ever reason. But that ok cause i call her squisqua.

The rest of my family calls me renie.
