What's your passion?
I'm curious, what are you passionate about? I've never really been passionate about anything and I'm interested in how other people do it... find something/someone that they just absolutely LOVE.
I'm a romantic - but I'm absolutely passionate about being with my husband - talking, laughing, holding hands, just being together. He's as I could imagine to having a soul mate.
We're newly weds I'll admit that - but its been this way for over a year now and I doubt we'll ever stop being this way (even through the hard times).

I love motorcycles, I would rather ride in the rain at 48 degrees then do most everything else in the world. The peace, the joy, the humor and the focus, oh my the focus doing twenty things at once and knowing you can do that better next time if your elbow is dropped more or you push harder and sooner with your outside hand or you work on one of the other eighteen things.
Riding it's spiritual, tactile, sensual, zen, it's being everything by speeding though and pass it. And at the same time it's bawdy, obscene, rebellious and childish. I guess temping the joy and beauty of perfectly rounded corner with obscene, childishness of flying down a lonely stretch at 120+ mph.
As for how to find a passion, you have me. I guess just look at different things and wait until they click.
For me, it was killing an afternoon with my brother in law by going to the saddest place in the world and I saw a 1980something Kawasaki Concours. That bike stuck in my head. I would myself thinking about it, thinking about riding it.
I started looking in to cycles that weekend, I had cycle with in 3 months and one that worked with in 9 months (yes I have never ridden my first cycle but it is an collector) and a brand new one 9 months after that.
Now my wife is infected, she has that first brand new bike I bought (A Kawa KLR650, great bike) and I am riding a Triumph TT600. I don't know I did things, stuff I liked, before I had a cycle but they do not hold my interest any more.
Well, I guess I can't say my husband since that one's been taken.
(I'm a newlywed too...only a few months, now.) So I guess my
other passion is fishkeeping. When I got sick, I used to love
watching the fish in the huge aquarium one of my specialists had.
Now I've got a 50, 40, and 20 gallon, all running and fully
stocked. Nothing too rare, but some pretty cool fish,
nonetheless. I love my fish and there's nothing more relaxing
than watching them.
teaching...nothing like watching the kids light up when they finally get it. :D
also...traveling off the beaten path... spent time in latin america and love the people, the scenery and the way of life... nothing beats it...

I have a passion for art and writing. There's nothing like 'em! I have a passion for fashion too (I really wish that didn't ryhm, lol. )
I love video games. Without video games I would be bored forever. I also like anything that uses creativity and artistic elements. But video games is my main passion. My dream is to be a famous video game designer. I want to create video games for all kinds of people. I just can't wait to finally 'unleash' all my ideas & thoughts. It's going to take a couple of years though. 'Game Designer' is the most difficult title to achieve in the video game industry. That's because designing games is extremely risky for both publishers and developers. It costs millions of dollars to develop a game. A game takes between 2 to 4 years to develop. One of my other goals is to open up my very own game development studio. But I'll probably open one up when I'm around 35-40 years old.
I have to continue dreaming for now. But that's what keeps me alive.

I have quite a few 'passions' as it were but I'm sure I can narrow it down. Earlier this year I started taking drum lessons as I got a bit bored with playing the guitar (I've been playing for 6 years!) and I just love playing the drums so much. My tutor will show me something new to learn and it'll just sound really complicated & I think "i'll never be able to do that" and I'll practice my arse off for a few days & still not be any good but then one day I'll sit down and bam, I've just magically picked it up. It's a great feeling.
I'm also a little bit obsessed with anything star wars/harry potter. I have so many star wars books & comics it's untrue. And I've read all the harry potter books about 6 times over, I even bought some harry potter lego for myself lastweek!

Music!
Nothing. I live a passion free life. It's impossible for me to care for something so much that I could refer to it as "passion". However, I do really enjoy football, music, and video games. And movies. And women.
- My BF
- Libraries & information and keeping them free
- Writing
- Better health (edited in)
- Nudism*
- Stripping*
- And I think I'd like to try painting with pastels
If you want to find something to be passionate about, I think you have to start with what you're good at, what you enjoy, and what resonates with your spirit.
You also have to be willing to put yourself out there and take chances.
I wonder if there's anyone who's passionate about being apathetic.... nah, would take too much energy and they're just not gonna go that far with anything... LOL!
My family...writing...cooking...painting...
My kids, My Dog, Hubby, Gaming,
oh and Judge Judy....
oh and Judge Judy....
Music, good films, learning new languages, travel, politics, cute boys and my friends.
Passionate about getting healthy and losing the rest of the weight, politics, family, protecting a women's right to choose, reading and laughter.
First off (like many others), my husband!! I absolutely love our cuddle time. He's my best friend and we love doing most everything together.
Second... Snowboarding! Nothing like cutting fresh snow on the side of a mountain. I feel like I'm on the top of the world. Especially at night before a ride when I can look down and see all the tiny lights in nearby towns. So peaceful... so refreshing. My husband and I go every weekend available! (Going to Vail this winter!!!)

I'm like mfchill, something about a motorcycle that fascinates me. I have three of them. A little 250 Rebel, a VLX, and a V Strom 650. I try to ride each bike 4000 miles a year. I am waiting on a 250 Ninja in blue, just as soon as the dealer gets one in, I am gonna get one.
One thing though - I have increased the intensity of my walking, and I won't ride unless I am feeling 100 percent - lately, I have been too tired to ride on some days. But, I keep hoping that in a few months I can go to maintaining my weight, and I will be able to ride more then. I am 53 years old. In my younger days, I suffered from depression. I used to pray to God - "Please take me home at 60 years old!" - Now - I wanna live to be 100. My grandad lived to be 98, hopefully I have his genes. So that's what this diet/exercise thing is for me - a way to live long and stay healthy.
It is SO important to have a Passion in your life. Makes living worthwhile, doesn't it!!!

hm... after husband and child would be horses, someday I want my own on my own land.....Cesar Milan.... (Ian Dunbar- eat your jealous heart out!) Dogs, Cats...most animals in general actually....reading romance novels (someday I'd like to write my own...).... these boards...ha, ha....
hmm...Well, there's really only 1 thing I'm truly passionate about:
Reading. I absolutely love to read, and am currently maxing at both my school and county library card. ^^
I'm also a hopeless romantic, though I haven't met anybody yet to be passionate about.
There are a couple things I also really like, but am not as passionate about them as the word suggests.
1. Karate. Love it- tons of fun and great exercise. (Especially sparring!) ^^
2. Helping others. While I truly enjoy helping others, particularly teaching, I don't get to do it as much as I like, and am currently tutoring some people that are rather being forced to be tutored, and thus am a little annoyed with it. XP
3. Video games. In the summer when I don't have nearly as much homework, and have far-off due dates, I play video games or surf the Internet hours a day, but mostly the former.
I am like you in the fact that there's nothing I'm terribly passionate about; it made it difficult to choose a research topic for a very long presentation, as they said choose something you love. (ex: muckrakers, ice skatingwhatever) ^^;;

Well after my husband and our families I would have to say nursing. I love it!
Offshore sailing! Get away, escape the daily routine, feel the power of the wind, the motion of waves under the keel, endless horizons, blue-green water sparkling in the sun, white sails. Dolphins. Sometimes.
Pure happiness.
Pure happiness.
