What's your reward system?

Quote  |  Reply
I decided that I would give myself a reward system. So for every 5 pounds I lose I can buy a shirt or another article of clothing I need. I don't buy much for myself because I have 4 children. But I thought an old navy shirt or american eagle shirt every 5 pounds would be nice. Or even a victoria secret bra or panties.

What is your reward sytem if you have one?

Mine's pretty much the same.  I didn't do anything at first so watching the scale go down instead of up was pretty much all the reward I needed :)  Then as my clothes got looser I was thrilled to put on a smaller size :D  I've lost some more and am loving the attention!  I feel pretty again and love splurging on a new purse.  I don't buy much for myself and if my mother in law didn't just buy me some clothes I wouldn't even have known about my new size!!!  Enjoy it!
Mine are like that to, I buy something really sexy.....come to think of it, it seems like my reward system is more my husband's reward system..... dammit! Huh, maybe I should think more selfishly!
my reward for the end is one month unlimited tanning so that i can try to hide the stretch marks.
pizza once a week

I'm looking forward to a clothes shopping spree when I hit the half-way point.
I buy myself a treat at the beginning of the week... usually it's just a candy bar I love. If I do well throughout the week and maintain my weight and don't binge, I give myself the treat on Saturday or Sunday. Right now I actually have two treats waiting in the fridge for me for the next couple weeks... a butterfinger bar, and the new Reese's Whipps candy bar (similar to a 3 musketeers, but in reese's format :))!
mine is clothes...but i sort of need the clothes nyway because all my old stuff doesnt fit.
I have a reward system in place for every 15 pounds I lose and I have it posted in my profile to remind me everyday.

ICE CREAM!!!!
Mine has been new workout clothes or new bike stuff.  Once I get more acclimated to my new bike, it will probably be entries into bike events.
When I get halfway to my mini-goal (in about 5 lbs!) I am going to treat myself to a massage.  I will probably do that when I reach my mini-goal (200lbs by Xmas), too.

for every - 1 pound - i lose i go out for a meal and order anything i want (well i still avoid fried and creamy stuff - i just cant help it, even if i tell myself i can have ANYTHING i just cant bring myself to do it lmao!)

when i reach 165 lbs - haircut

160 lbs - facial, manicure and/or pedicure

155 lbs - weekend getaway

150 lbs - new wardrobe!! (my goal weight) or atleast a new outfit - depending on my finances.

I'm 170 lbs, female, 5 foot 10, now and am planning on losing about 3 lbs a month so it will be a while before i get to my goal weight.

CLOTHES! If I keep going at the rate I am (cross my fingers!), I will meet my goal just after Christmas. I'm planning on asking my parents and father-in-law for gift cards, and I am going to buy myself an all-new wardrobe. I've been trying to be good and stay away from the mall, since I don't want to buy much more in 12s, because I'm hoping to get to a 10 or even an 8. I'm cinching up my pants and putting my bras on tighter hooks until then. And after my husband and I meet our goals and maintain them for a little (hopefully this March or April), we want to go to the Carribean or on a cruise so we can walk around in our bathing suits without feeling like white whales.
First mini goal - get my hair cut and coloured

Second - New pair of winter boots

Third - New coat

Forth (and final!) - Slap up meal for me and boy in a nice restaurant.

When im at the dress size i want to be im going to shop shop shop too
I definitly go and try on clothes. I don't necessarily buy them (I am also a mom) but its fun prancing around in new clothes that finally fit! I also treat myself to an hour out by the pool in my bikini getting my new stomach some color :)
$10 spending money for every 40 miles walked.

I like the 10.00 for 40 miles walked. That is a good one.
