What's up with that!?

Quote  |  Reply

This is a rant:

So lately I've noticed a lot of people on this site (especially teens) asking the same questions over and over. It's the same person making the post but repeating the question that they've already asked! For example "is 1000 cals a day enough?" people say no so they ask the same question two days later! Or "do teens really have to eat 1500 cals?" or my personal favorite "how do I make my thighs not touch?"  It's so damn annoying and a little sad! I'm sorry that you don't like the responses but asking the question again is not going to change the out come. Does anyone else feel this way or is my job making me crazy?

I dislike the posts where people start out with, "I searched but couldn't find anything, but..."  And it's usually the most obvious questions.  Are 1200 realy enough?  How am I expected to only eat 1200 calories?  How many calories should I eat?  How to do this, how to do that, are you serious?  And then you click the "next" at the bottom of the page and there're four other topics with the exact same question, saturated with brilliant answers.

I only want to see posts once.  Not once per day.

They've spread to the health and support forums now too. =/ I avoid YCC and Weight Loss because it's filled with confused teens and now health and support is becoming the same. D:

Health and Support has always been that way. Eating disorder troubles and recoveries. I thought that's what the weight gain forum was created for, but I guess people like Health and Support better.

"how do I make my thighs not touch?"

duct tape a piece of sandpaper to each inner thigh and run until they are sanded right off.
