and why?

The Quick and The Dead - Sharon Stone was in it.  It was another horrible movie that never should have been made.

Spawn - Dear god I think I actually fell asleep!

Vanilla Sky - WTH?!

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Just really really bad

Happy Feet - not good.  It was WAY too heavy for a kids movie.

The Clumps (The Nutty Professor II) - This movie just wasn't funny and it kept getting more and more ridiculous. I couldn't even finish it.

Ultra Violet - Ugh, this movie was terrible! The story could have been good, but...no, no it couldn't have.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten Vanilla Sky.  That was terrible.

But the one I really hated (and I know that many disagree with me) was the Matrix.  When he came up out of that vat of goo I just started laughing hysterically at how banal it all was, much to the embarassment of my companion.

Took my 15 year old step-son to see "28 Days" when it came out a few years back. We'd both been wanting to see it.

Stupidest thing I ever saw. No real plot, bad characters and even worse acting.

I was counting ceiling tiles.  After about 30 min I told him that there is no shame in walking out of a terrible flick.  10 min later he decided I was right.

We both hated it.

Why does everyone hate Vanilla Sky? I didn't think it was that bad.

The Village was horrible.

Aww, I love Mel Brooks and everything he does.

Simply Irresistible- the only movie I ever walked out of. It was/is painfully bad and stupid. I love Sarah Michelle Gellar but this was the dumbest plot ever.

I agree to a certain extent about bad sequels, but there have been a few gems among the poo that are sequels... i.e. Back to the Future II and T2 .

I know it's a children's movie and generally they're not meant to be good but Fred Claus was awful. I went to see it because there was nothing else on and only managed to sit through 15 minutes. It was painfully dull. I'll never understand how Vince Vaughn could be a lead. He's too average and unattractive.

the worst movie i've ever seen is  "mr jingles." it's about a killer clown, but it looked like children video-taped it, and they had a $10 budget. it was HORRIBLE.

i rented it on the weekend and it was so bad i invited all my friends over yesterday to come see how bad it was.

IRON MAN. ugh. only idiots could like that.
and whoever said lost in translation clearly doesnt appreciate good movies.

I agree I liked lost in translation

but worst movie recently I've seen would have to be the Happening

do not waste your money seriously Horrible, the acting, the plot....awful

I mean the movie had a moral, but they could've summed it up in about 10 minutes rather than letting it drag on for an hour and half

I agree... it wasn't that bad. Would've been better without Tom Cruise though.

And I have to pick just one?? My Blueberry Nights (Nora Jones, Jude Law)-- don't know if this p.o.s. was released in the States but it was here... and it sucked so hard. Any "teen" movie is completely awful... Dumb and Dumber, etc.

There's just too many bad movies to list.

Must Love Dogs.

It was so bad, I told a bunch of ppl that they MUST watch it, it was GREEEEEAT.

if I had to waste 2 hours of my life watching it, so should they!
haha, thats great lippy....
i just watched semi-pro with will ferril last night....not his best

My tolerance for crap movies is clearly waaaaay higher than any of yours. The movie I personally can't bear is The Maize. Worst. Movie. Ever. I'll let the IMDb synopsis explain why.

A father's psychic abilities are put to the test when his two daughters are trapped inside of a corn maze haunted by the spirits of two young girls who disappeared a year earlier.

P.S. HK, bite your tongue. The fight scene between Darth Maul and Qui-Gon more than made up for the absolute horror of Jar Jar Binks.

A movie called Transmorphers. However, although it was one of the worst movies I've seen, it was also one of the movies I've laughed the hardest during, simply because it's so badly made (in terms of sound, script and particularly visual effects!) and absurd.

I'd recommend seeing it actually because you'll wonder how this movie was ever allowed to be made. I rented it to watch with my younger brother because I thought it looked like a 'transformers' type movie, but really it's nothing like that at all, it has all these weird adult themes going on... I don't know what else to say, but if you're looking for something to make you laugh and you see 'Transmorphers' at your local video store, you MUST rent it.

Edit: I found the trailer! HERE.

Space Balls

AHHHHHHHHHHH!

someone hates spaceballs?

I love that s***

I really really really did not enjoy AI.

I also walked out of A Prairie Home Companion after about 15 minutes.  Because it was a really really lame 15 minutes.

I hated this movie.  Hated.  Hated.  Hated it.  I hated every minute of it.  I didn't understand why this bastard creation was envisioned, green lit, or filmed.

If I every find Bill Murray or Sofia Coppola, I am demanding 102 minutes of my life back.  I must be an idiot, because I didn't apreciate Bill Murray moping around in Japan to whine, discover Scarlett Johansson (who I don't consider attractive), do a crappy commercial, and if I remember right perform some drunk karaoke.

This movie must have been originally written in some other language, because only then would the title make sense, since something really was lost in translation for me.  Oh, by the way, did I mention that I hated it and wished great harm on Bill Murray after watching it?  (Also, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou didn't really help assuage my feelings.)
