Sure! Why not? I have not tried wheat bran myself but I usually add a bit of my cereal to my plain yogurt, sometimes a little honey helps boost the flavor. You could also try fruit like blueberries, banana, strawberries, mango, peach, etccc with your yogurt. You could even add almonds or whatever nut you like to it as well as granola. I hope more people post because I am running out of ideas of what to do with my plain yogurt as well. :)

I add it to pancakes and oatmeal, but I will warn you - it's very "fiberous" and sometimes gives me stomach aches if I eat too much of it, especially when it's uncooked.

I like to mix it into my oatmeal in the morning. Then after its been microwaved for a min. I'll top it with soy protein powder and some granola and a couple tbsps of soy milk. SOO delicious and filling.

I eat a lot of yogurt. Here are a few ideas:

Cucumber and Yogurt Salad: Diced cucumber in yogurt. Flavor with dried mint sprinkled on top. You can add garlic if you like the taste.

Grilled Aubergine with yogurt. You can also add grilled tomato. I add chopped fresh parsley as well.

Cooked rice and yogurt. Use brown rice if you want it to be more healthy. It tastes good with honey if you prefer sweet to savory.

I also cook courgettes then add yogurt. Again, you can add cooked tomato.

I make hummus 'light' by mixing it with lots of yogurt.

You can add it to any sauce or dip for extra fiber, bread oven-fried stuff with it, or spread it on surfaces where you knead dough (instead of flour).

A cool thing to do is mix an egg or an egg white with wheat bran in a cup/glass (how much bran you use is up to you, if you want a more moist or dense consistency, the main thing is to get all the bran incorporated). Then microwave on high for 1-2 minutes (until it sort of 'rises' on top of the cup), take it out, let chill and cut into slices. Ta-da - bran cakes! You can leave them as is or bake/grill them for a crunchier texture. They`re nice with jam or cream cheese. And I wouldn`t eat too many in one sitting if I were you. xD

I love to add cheerios to my plain yogurt!

good ideas.. but she asked about how to eat BRAN, not yogurt lol

I love making protein/fiber pancakes using only bran, baking powder, egg whites, stevia and other flavorings/ingredients depending on my "mood"

-pumpkins spice fiber/protein pancakes (add pumpkin puree and pie spice)

-chocolate bran pancakes (add cocoa, and a little plain yogurt)

-cinnimon pancakes (add cinnimon and maple flavoring)

or i'll pop in in the microwave and make a "muffin" rather then a pancake... i'm not sure if you'd like it as much as I do (my family gives me weird looks!) but I think they taste pretty dang good and usually eat something like this for breaky every morning

Thanks for the ideas guys, I thought I might try adding some to my porridge but im a bit unsure ratio wise how that would work out.

I gave the muffin idea a go though, I put some wheat bran in a cup with a mixed egg white and microwaved it for a min just to see how it would turn out. Not bad again Im not sure of the ratios but I think its a good idea for future experiments!

How much bran would you normally use for just say one serving?

I love some of the yogurt ideas to, thanks so much!

it takes some experimenting, but usually i go about 15g of bran per half cup of egg whites.. cook slowly or else the bran is too, well, "bran like"
