Whole wheat banana muffins
| 1 | egg |
| 1 | c. skim milk |
| 1/2 | c. unsweetened apple sauce |
| 1/4 | c. honey |
| 1/2 | cup banana |
| 2 | c. whole wheat flour |
| 3 | tsp. baking powder |
| 1/4 | tsp. nutmeg |
| 1 | tsp. cinnamon |
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Beat egg, then combine with milk, apple sauce, maple syrup, and banana.
- Mix in remaining ingredients until just moistened (batter should be lumpy).
- Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake 20-25 minutes. Makes 12 to 18 muffins.
