The better candidate.

Still struggling with that one.  I don't like either of them.  I think Obama is an elitist and a Socialist, and I don't trust McCain either.  If I have to pick one it will probably be McCain because I dislike him less than Obama.

 

Which one do you trust? Scary thought...

I suppose I'll have to vote for the lesser of two evils. There's no way I'm voting for McCain.

I wish Hillary would be  his running mate, but we all know that won't happen.

Being a diehard Republican, I it pains me to  be forced to vote for change and hope and hope for the best...

Well I would write myself in as a vote. Unfortunately I'm Canadian, so I'll settle for becoming Supreme Chancellor of Canada.

^Ron Paul isn't anti-choice.  He's pro state rights.

All the hippie kids in my town are crazy about Ron Paul. You know, they're the same kids that thought Nader had a chance in hell.

They have shows to raise money for him and stuff. It's sooo cute, just completely unrealistic.

Whichever one WILL simplify our abused tax policy, reduce our debt burden, redistribute more money to spending on science, education and security, prevent insurance companies of any sort from being for-profit, make strong incentives for saving that only apply to individuals with less than 100k in gross income, give exceptionally favorable treatment to businesses with a net income of less than 500,000 usd, phase out Social Security, repeal Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy, reform farm subsidies, cut all pork barrel spending, and consider scrapping medicare/medicaid in place of a refundable tax credit equal to the amount paid for medical insurance premiums limited by the average annual premium for a modest comprehensive medical plan available to people similar to the taxpayer.

In short. Neither of them.

I'm going to vote for McCain, but who do I want to be president?  Can we bring Regan back from the dead (pre-alzheimer's, of course).  Mix him with Giuliani’s communication skills, and that would be my ideal.  A girl can dream…
