Who's from Hawaii out their? And what Island?

Just curious who's out thier from Hawaii?  It's a special place with big temps when it comes to food All  Da Kinds Grinds, county fair this weekend.  Howzit? 

  Aloha!!! I was wondering if there were any islanders on this site. I'm on Kauai.  Moved here 16 yrs ago from Washington...miss snowskiing and fall colors but not enough to move back.  Used to do more scuba before 2 keikis and a mortgage.  I'm at a concierge/timeshare desk.   Good to meet ya!

 

I lived on Oahu for three years, and want nothing else out of life but to move back to Hawaii. 

 

Probably not Oahu though, someplace less populated.  I'm thinking Kuai, Maui, or the Big Island, in that order.   Honestly though, I need to bank enough so that I don't *need* to work when I get back.   Just take something laid back at a surf shop and enjoy the trade winds.

Nice to meet you, I live Maui 18 years.  From S. Calif.  I don't miss Calif to much just some time they have events games exct.  But the trade off is worth it.  Clean, Air, Clean Ocean,

     I live on Oahu in a little town called Kaaawa.  I work in Kaimuki with Refractive Surgeon & Corneal Specialist John Olkowski.  Man I love it out here!  Came out via the Navy the first time originally from West Virginia. Then after I got married I Moved to the wine country where My wife is from and pretended to myself that Everything was ok...Til I started having dreams about Malassadas, Plate lunches and all the great food that is only here.  Once you live here in the islands your done dont even try living anywhere else.  Youll be ok for about five or six years but then....Your looking at a pretty ugly housing market and still dreaming about Malassadas, Plate lunches, and how extremely cool and friendly people were here.

    

I live on the Big Island, in Kailua Kona.  Lot of vog here for the last few weeks.

OMG I so envy everyone who lives on an island.  I am orginally from Jamaica,  but I definately plan on visiting Hawaii before I leave the service I maybe retire there if I end up loving it.  Good luck everyone

I just moved here, My husband's Navy so we live by Pearl Harbor.  I never want to leave, I feel like I found my home!  I haven't met a whole lot of people here though.

Any other TEENS from here?

I grew up on Hickam AFB, Honolulu, Oahu.  From ages 8-17.  I miss it so much!  I have pretty much hated everywhere i've lived since leaving UNTIL i moved to Las Vegas.  If i could afford to live in Hawaii, I probably would.  But Vegas is second best to me, so far! 

Leeward Oahu (: lived here for 10 years.
