Just wondering what celebrities you had hanging on your walls back in the day (or even today.) I know most people go through their phases..so admit up..who was hanging on your wall?!

Back in the day I had a lot of Jonathan Brandis pictures (RIP) I was like obsessed with him. I even had some boyband posters on my wall (shamefully. :P) Along with a few other celebrities whose movies I enjoyed.

David Cassidy.  My, I'm old.

You'd think that someone who was obsessed with Green Day would know that it is "Green Day" and not "Greenday."

:D

i was a hulk hogan dork...yeah i admit it  Undecided

The only posters I can recall ever having on my wall from younger days was one of Duran Duran, a movie poster for "The Lost Boys", a Garfield poster with a "Big Fat Hairy Deal" caption, and that one poster of a cute little kitty hanging on a branch with the "hang in there" caption.  And a bunch of doodle art/graffiti from an artist friend in high school.

Currently I don't have any posters, but I do have a framed, signed, pic of Harrison Ford as Han Solo.

New Kids on the Block!! It is so funny to think about!(as a teen)

Now I have pictures from my kids ( I know its not romantic, but our kids rule our world so they give them to us we hang them up)

My 9 year old has Miley Cyrus and Zac Effron.

i vaguely recall shaun cassidy.  i know there were others, but it was seven hundred years ago, and i have alzheimers.

I knew I liked you - as a little kid when I was first started listening to "pop" music, that's who I had!

Then I got weird...I was the only kid in Jr high who knew who The Police were (this was before they really hit the pop scene) and from them on it was 90% Police with a little Billy Idol thrown in.

Well in Junior High I absolutely LOVED New Kids on The Block and then I went into JTT mode - I'm suprised I'm the only one who loved Jonathon Taylor Thomas??  Come on 25 year olds - where ya at?  Where's my Home Improvement and Lion King fans?  LOL  oh geez...

PG and THMHEH - I too had Shaun Cassidy on the wall.  I was in the third grade, my first crush, moved onto Reo Speedwagon, The Police, Boston, Air Supply, anything old school country, my choices were weird even back then.  My husband dies everytime I sing along too the oldies, but I do know the words.

I had him too...da doo run run run da doo run run....ahhhhhhh

Jonathan Brandeis, also... and Andrew Keegan. hahaha

Currently I have a poster of this guy... but it's just something I grabbed off the subway wall when my sister was visiting.

NIN, Tool (listening to them now actually), The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, The Jesus Lizard.

Still NIN and Tool.

Mostly Billy Idol with a little James Dean and John Lennon thrown in.

Many many many dave matthews band posters.  Ive got a DMB tat too :D I lugged a giant stack of them from dorm room to dorm room but I havent put any up in my "adult" places yet

Also I started putting up setlists, ticket stubs, other random stuff from the DMB shows and blue october shows I went to (lots)

Oh wow--when I was a teenager I littered my walls with virtually and punk or goth or new wave band I could find a picture of (those were the 3 genres I mostly listened to) The best one was a print for a Lydia Lunch show in Tucson actually signed and numbered by Frank Kozik--snatched it in the early 90's before Kozik really blew up as this big hot shot rock poster artist! Unfortunately it tore after numerous moves.

These days I mostly have art done by myself or people I know, or artists I'm into like Henry Darger or Louis Wain (huh, I don't go for any sane artists I guess...). Also a signed drawing Crispin Glover did in my sketchbook, I cut out the page and had it framed. He said it was a spindle but it looks more abstract. Also my bassist gave me a bunch of photgraphs of morgues to make band flyers from, but I ended up putting them on the wall. I'll take some down and make a flyer at some point, really I will...

Dexter.  Nom nom.

Ooh, I should totally get a poster of him! Nom nom indeed.

I've actually seen a nice portrait of Dexter online by Shepard Fairey (the artist who did those "Andre The Giant Has A Posse" things and more recently the iconic Obama-"Hope" picture) I'm sure they must sell a print of that...

This s terrible - people are talking about shaun Cassidy - I had David Cassidy his older brother, Davey jones the monkeys and the Bay city roller (saturday night) LOL  Oh and David Bowie.

Growing up it was always The Backstreet Boys for me.

I was absolutely obsessed with Nick Carter haha!

Heh, me too.  David Cassidy, Bobby Sherman, Mark Lindsay, and the very best: Davey Jones. Those were the originals favs.

As the 70's really started cranking it was more of the Frank Zappa on the crappa type of thing.
