hahah i have one and i think its sooooo much fun.

I've lost like five pounds in the two weeks since ive gotten it  but who knows if it actually does anything?

The yoga and strength training and prettty intense though :-p

haha no doubt. I've had mine for about a month and a half, and have dropped 12 pounds. even doing the body test everyday and nothing else makes me feel good (or bad if its up haha)

have you tried the advanced hula hoop? soooo tiring!

lol YES. i go crazzzy at it. i think tis so fun.

Im not gonna lie though, i refuse to use my wii fit on days when i feel like my weight's gona up (i go to the gym those days). I like seeing my weight progression dropping and not rising :-p

I had $10 on a Wii Fit before it came out and they called me to tell me it was in.  I had heard about the little girl that was told she was obese when she wasn't in the meantiime.  I guess that turned me off and kinda reluctant to have my weight advertised for all in the house to hear!!  lol  That is a private matter!

I love it!!!!! I usually burn between 350-420 cals an hour!! (I do ten minute hula hoop, a six min hula hoop, 20 min run and a bunch of advanced steps) I have lost 4 pounds so far & have had it for almost two weeks!!! It makes exercise fun!!!

OMG The whole reason I logged on was to post about how much I LOVE MY NEW WII FIT :D I just got it on Tuesday and I love it! Sometimes it takes me a couple minutes to figure the games out.. but I get it eventually :] You can definitely see my learning curve in my scores! I was suprised I get such a good workout out of it. I had been running and biking this summer so I thought I'd be in pretty good shape.. I guess those 2 months of no exercise really hit me hard! :] It'll be so great for the rainy cold Washington winter!

haha it is suuuuuuuuuuper fun, i love mine too, definitely worth it. as for a little girl being told she's obese, it told my older brother he is obese too but its because it doesnt take into account muscular build, just weight and height. my brother is 6'2 and around 200-220 pounds, but he is by no means fat at all. he is super active and very muscular. imagine our shock when he was 'obese' haha as for myself, i find it very accurate, i get pretty close to the same weight and BMI measurements on my scale and on other calculators. besides, it hides your weight if you want it to, and you can password lock it!! anyways, im getting dance dance revolution: hottest dance party this wkend.

Has anyone got a good workout on that, cuz thats my goal!!

Ohhhhh - I didn't know it hides the weight!!!  Not that it's a big deal, but my hubby always guesses my weight at 100 pounds and I never correct him.  lol  He is 6'2", and I am 5'2.5" so 100 to him is reasonable.  He doesn't NEED to know!

I have Dance Dance and it is pretty boring.  I used it a couple times, but was not impressed.  I got it at the same time I put money down on the Wii Fit.  Maybe I'm just clumsy, but it seemed like I did not get a very good workout at all from that.

hmmm really? well its already paid for so i guess i'll give it a whirl!! i seriously reccommend wii fit though, i know alot of people that have lost weight on it. and like i said, i really like just getting on the board first thing ever morning and seeing the change in weight and BMI (when its down of course haha) motivational (i dont have a scale, lol) good luck finding Wii fit though, i dunno where your at, but im in alberta canada and i've had about 8 people ask me to pick up a copy for them if i can find it, but its NOWHERE!! fallen off the face of the earth....poor little guy

I'm in Michigan and they called me a while back... maybe 2 mos ago or so.  I had a hard time finding dance, dance revolution at the time.  It was at a Game Stop.  NOt sure if they have those in Canada.

not that i know of, but my aunt finally found a copy for me at an EB games.

Hmm, I love my wii fit, and think its the most fun I can have working out (which I typically hate), but does anyone else feel sad when you've gained weight for whatever reason and it makes you say why?

TTOTM is never an option, so I have to say "I don't know" and then my Mii looks all sad at me, and then I am sad.

That said - advanced hula hoop is a ton of fun, but the bubble game, although not really a workout is my fave!

haha i hate that stupid bubble game. that one and the tight rope are sooo hard...maybe i just have horrible balance lol can anybody beat 465 on the soccer heading one? didnt think so! haha

I love the Wii Fit.  It's so much fun.  It's more like a video game than exercising.

I didn't like Dance Dance Revolution that much.  In fact, I haven't played it in forever.  The voice in it was always insulting me.  "Come on!  You call that dancing?"  I also don't like the music on it.

this group makes my life. I lovee my wii fit as i mentioned earlier, and i have so much fun playing it. you guys are motivating me to go home and play it some more :)

haha me too! i actually hadnt worked out on it in forever, at least two wks i would say, just done the daily body test, but today i actually went on it and worked out hardcore lol i love the advanced step haha and i went for a 3k jog today!! yay me!

I do love my wii fit as well, and know I will use it more once winter comes.  I am also planning on picking up   Active Life Outdoor Challenge http://www.amazon.com/Active-Life-Outdoor-Cha llenge-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B0013LTP5Q ; and when it comes out the Jillian Michaels Fitness revolution?  when it comes out

I bought WiiFit a couple days ago (from toysRus, cheaper than EB games!) and I LOVE it so far.

I've even got my boyfriend doing it =]

I love love love my Wii Fit!!!  And enjoy doing my test every day, even when it says I've gained.  I find if I weigh myself EVERY day I don't get depressed if I've gained because you can chalk it up to water retention.  If I go a few days and I've gained I somehow feel worse.

One interesting question: does anyone have a reliable calorie burning chart for how much you burn doing excercises?  My morning (25-30 wii minutes) routine always includes a couple of balance games (I love the penguin one) and then 20-25 minutes of aerobics including either hula hoop, steps or rhythmic boxing.

I did find this link but would love to know if there's a chart or list which shows calories burned during all activities, especially the yoga and strength training ones:

I don't have a wii fit (but I want one!) but I DO have Pump It Up - It's like Dance Dance Revolution, but it actually came out before DDR and has 5 pads instead of 4. It's two up corner two down corner and center. Now THAT game is a waaay better workout than DDR, IMHO. Especially if you use it in normal or hard mode instead of easy and do songs that keep the beat up. Like all of the artist Banya's songs. It's pretty much my favorite game. It's only for the PS2 and computer though (if you have an emulator). I'm sure it would also work on a PS3, but I've never tried. And! It's way cheap 'cause hardly anyone uses/knows about it.

someday I'll get a wii fit though! I'm glad to see that people actually like it!
