wii My Fitness Coach
I got a wii for Christmas and am LOVING IT! I recently purchased the "My Fitness Coach" to go with it. It is being shipped to me so I haven't had the chance to try it. Has anyone used it? If so do you like it?
I am planning to purchase the wii in the next few weeks and have heard (and read) many wonderful things. According to my neighbor the wii alone with the bowling, boxing, golf and tennis games (I think is included with the wii) is enough to make you break out in a sweat. She said the fitness programs will definitely get your heart rate going. I am really excited about this prospect and hope to also purchase the wii fit. From what I have heard about "My Fitness Coach" it is well worth the money! What could be better than playing games to lose weight?! GOOD LUCK and let me know how it works for you. :)
I'm excited because you don't have to have the wii Fit or any of the other accessories. It's so hard to find any of the other stuff! Also, from what I have read it is more intensive that the Fit because it doesn't focus so much on the balance but more on the cardio.
my fitness coach for wii is actually the same as yourself!fitness that came out a couple of years ago (I think) for pc, ps2 and xbox, it has just been remade a bit for wii, that being said, this is a wonderfull instrument for working out, what I like about it (well I actually don't have the wii one, but the xbox older version) is that it actually adjusts according to your fitness level, it tests you every 10 work outs and then sets the work outs accordingly, the best thing is that it rotates your work outs (upper body, core, lower body, cardio, flexibility) and so every work out is different which in comparison to video work outs is really great! the chance you get bored with it is very low! Oh I advice to get a step, exercise ball and dumbells and it can 'shake' up your work outs even more! (Maya, your coach, incorporates them in the work outs when you have them available)
Hey!
I've been searching for posts about this "game" for the past couple weeks. I finally bought and tried it out today. So far, I love it!
I have created a group for all intersted call My Fitness Coach (Wii) where maybe we can keep in touch regarding the game and our success with it? I'm impressed with how personalized it is. Can't wait to unlock new music and surroundings. More importantly, can't wait to update my profile and goals with my weight loss!

I know this is a bit old but it's better than starting a new thread...
I found a sample video of an entire 15 minutre cardio session on fitness coach for anyone who's interested in seeing what the work out is like.
Check it out here.

Wow, thank you for the video! Just wondering- does it have any subtitle/closed captioning features?
Sorry no and the video quality is low due to the 15mb limit.. it's hard getting 17 minutes of video into 15 mb of space XD.

I'm on workout 67 now I think. I use it about 3-4 a week and do the "core workout" a lot. I like the format and the fact that there is enough variance in the workouts to keep boredom at bay. You WILL see results if you stay consistent to your "commitment" (which you will set up for yourself within the game). I only use it for 30 minutes a stretch and in all actuality, that is all anyone needs with a consistent program. Have fun with it! I think you'll enjoy it.
I totally agree I even wrote a full review about the game at associated content if you want you can read about it here. I've reached gold status and my wife has reached diamond status. We really love it, but we are considering looking at the new eactive game that's due out soon.
