Are you certain that's going to give you enough protein? Protein is very important for your body, and it's found easily in meats, poultry and fish. (And of course, peanut butter, chickpeas, etc :)
I'd really just reconsider the fish thing if I were you. Fish really aren't that bad foryou, they've got TONS of good nutritional value.
Protein is very important as Elrooto stated. Beans are an excellent source as well... they have great nutritional value as well. I eat Turkey chili with beans at least three times a week. It also really fills you up. I make homemade but Nally's is great and Wendy's if you are eating out is great as well.
Plus low fat or ff cheeses. Any lean meat (chicken is my favorite but like stated above Fish is the best for you). If you eat Peanut Butter Adam's Natural if the way to go. NO added sugar... just peanuts and salt.
But your doing great...keep up the good work.
First of all why are so many foods banned in your house? you are not doing yourself any favours by cutting such important food groups out of your diet such as protein.
The amount of exercise you are doing is brilliant and better than me at this moment in time but without protein you body will find it harder to repair your body's tissues after exercise.
People underestimate the power protein has in the body, it will help build muscle if anything.
Soups are great, they are filling and provide loads of great nutrients. I would suggest a few ideas to your mum because although you are eating the right stuff you have to have a little bit from each food group to be healthy. They wouldnt exist otherwise.
Good Luck!!
