Or even just the Wii--Anybody have one?  How useful is it to your fitness/weightloss goals?  I really, really want one.

I have one I really like I just don't workout as much as I need to I like the Yoga and the aerobic workouts. I also bought the Jillian Micheals Fitness game I have only done it once but I think some of the moves are hard to figure out.

Thanks!  Oh, man, I didn't even know there was a Jillian game!  I'm not about the complicated stuff, either, honestly.  Much more of a yoga and cardio person, too.

xx

I actually didn't think I would like the Yoga but once I started doing it I really liked it.

LOVE my Wii Fit!!! It gave me the motivation to start working out because it was fun! Now I kick my own butt everyday on it! I like to push myself to do better than the day before! LOOOOOVE it!

I too didn't know there was a Jillian game! Going to have to see about getting that one! Yay!

I too have a Wii Fit!! I like it but I don't use it as much. I have heard of Jillian Michaels, my brother actually lost 20 lbs doing her diet and workout dvds. But I own WiiFit as well as "My Fitness Coach" and thats intense but AWESOME!!! You do need the WiiFit Board to use this game but it's so worth the  money if you don't already have one.

My start with it is on Monday coming up will post  more info aftre ive had a workout..

I got the wii fit back in February.  I like it a lot.  It keeps me motivated and focused which is never a bad thing for me.

I absolutely LOVE my wii fit!  I use it almost every single day.  It's great because you can work out for an hour or two and not even really know it.  The best part is if you use it a lot, you "unlock" differrent games.  The best is one in the aerobics category.  You can work out for up to 30 mins at a time and while you are doing it, you can change the channel on your TV to watch your favorite show all while working out!  It's so awesome!

I bought the Jilian game and didn't like it as much.  I think they could have done a better job with the game.

I have had a wii fit since April. Bought after seeing my daughter's. The best things are the variety of activities, the weight-bmi-activity logging, the positive feedback comments and rewards, the ability to choose the amount and extent of activity level. If you want to keep a steady base of fitness, this really helps. I am 57, and it works well for me as I'm sure it would be for all ages. I recommend it to everybody.

luuvvv it

I have the Wii Fit and also love it. But I don't use it as much since I bought Cardio Gold Gym. It is mainly boxing but, the way it is done it works your upper and lower body. You can use the Wii Fit board with it and can do crunches with it and let me tell you I was sore for days after doing it. This is a great workout. It tracks you weight and bmi on it. It doesn't weigh you, you just put your weight in. I do this almost daily. I work up a good sweat and feel much better afterwards. I think everyone would enjoy this game.

Thanks for info about Cardio GG. I'll check into it. Cool

We bought a Wii for the family for Christmas and my husband bought me WiiFit with the board (as I has requested). However, I just set it up yesterday. So far, I'm loving it!!! I did 30 minutes of "step" aerobics this morning. I didn't feel like I was working out but I was dripping with sweat. This is a great way to get in some exercise when I can't get out of the house for a walk.

Do you do the Body Test every day as the software suggests?

I only want to "weigh-in" on Mondays... trying not to obsess about the numbers.

I work out almost everyday except Sunday. To keep my mind busy after having done this for so long, I have another TV nearby on to my favorite am shows that I can listen to while I'm working out. Helps the time pass. Most of the time, I do a combo of available types of activities for over an hour now. In the beginning, I did about 30-40 minutes. I just make sure to do at least 30 minutes of the advanced step and freestyle jogging each day for some cardio. I have been doing the body test every time. It can get to you if you are looking to see a lower weight or bmi # everyday, but as the fit program tells you, slow and steady wins the race. So I look at my graph over time and can see the downward trend. In 7 weeks (with a week and half vacation in the middle), I am down around 4 lbs. So I've been able to find it encouraging. I find the daily check-in as a good way to keep me honest. That way, I don't go off track. I have also been following the recommendations in the diet outlined in the book, "The Younger, Thinner You" by Dr Braverman which I find quite painless. All in all, I am feeling more flexible, stronger, more alert, less sluggish, and interested in daily projects such as sewing and helping my guy work on restoring his VW bug. Much more fun than laying around feeling sorry for myself.

I hope you see the + effects as well. It's been very encouraging for me and I am happy with the way things are going.

the wii fit isn't so great, its fun yes but an acutally work out not really because you work out for like 2 min then you have to go back to the main section and do it again, there are differnt breaks that don't let you break a sweat but i do like the step arobics.

I have EA Sports for the wii, which can play with or without the balance board.  I love it!  It's so easy to put it on and get a good workout in 20/30 minutes, being hot, sweaty and out of breath by the end.  It's defintely helping my weight loss and I've really noticed that it's toning me up too (even beneath all the fat!)

The fit program is working for me for general fitness, toning, flexibility, and stability. I do use the free step or jogging selections and the challenge choices in the strength training section to extend the workout and to work up a sweat. Since I started, I have been losing an average of a half pound a week - nice and gradual. My goal is to make this a forever change in my lifestyle. No more going back to overeating, feeling sorry for myself, and turning back into a couch potato!! So far, so good!!!

don't get the wii fit get the wii active. I love the wii active I use it three times a week, and I can notice a big change. I have the wii fit too but I think the wii active is so much better.

I am interested in Wii Active too. Is there a weight limit like the Wii Fit? My boyfriend was disappointed b/c he exceeded it. How much is it?

You don't need the balance board to play wii active, so no weight restrictions.
