Recipe Ingredients for Winter Squash Casserole

3 cups butternut squash
1/2 cup organic granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Recipe Directions for Winter Squash Casserole

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease or spray a 2-quart casserole dish and set aside.

  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients, except for the pecans, and mix well. Pour into the prepared casserole dish.

  3. 2. Sprinkle with the chopped pecans and bake for about 45 minutes
