Wish you had option to remove the Calorie Coach THUMB box.

I wish you could chose to show or not show the calorie coach thumb box on your my account page. i find it distracts me, worries me and even when doing really good it will still be down.  This would be a nice option to have it not shown if we wanted.

Some of use were posting about this a couple weeks ago because we're in agreement with you.

Since then, I've reached maintenance. Even on days that I weigh my exact maintenance weight, the thumb stays down. I'm wondering if it's waiting for my trend-line to stay consistent at my maintenance weight?? Right now my daily weight matches my maintenance goal, but my trend line is a pound and a half above that.

Anyway, It's cracking me up. "booo, thumbs down for you! You're successfully maintaining your goal weight. Bad job! booo!"

Mostly I ignore it...or laugh at it.

hear, hear!

hear, hear!

I agree!  I just started on this site a month ago, and had not updated my weight, and the thumb stayed up since I started.  Then I just updated my weight, I lost 8lbs, 42 more to go, but I was still happy! and my thumb was down...what's up with that?

I agree!  Yesterday my weight was up 3 lbs (retaining some water!) and I got a thumbs up.  Today, my weight was back to normal and I got a thumbs down!

My trend line is still going down too, and I'm still on track to meet my goal weight almost a month before my goal date.

I'm all out of ideas.

The Thumb obviously works on too broad of a calculation if it is confusing infrequent data entry with too great of a one time loss or female ebb and flow water retention. This should be fixable. In the meantime, it is very detrimental to be given a thumbs down when you are doing things right and it would be nice to disable it - or to have other options besides a thumb - perhaps a choice of a daily affirmation?

Just for kicks, I logged my weight as 3 lbs heavier than it really was today, and I got a thumbs up again!  Weird!

Smile
