woman-related question :)

This didn't really come to mind until now, but should I up my calories and water intake since it's TTOM?  I'm assuming that around that time, our bodies burn more energy naturally?  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I don't usually adjust intake at all, but I do find that weight loss stalls right before and during and then jumps lower right after.

More water would probably be a good idea, and maybe a tiny piece of theraputic chocolate.
i used to lose weight during my period, how does that work?  i dunno.  i just thought i'd share bt i don't really have an answer to your question ;(
i know ur supposed to drink a lot of water (more than 8 cups if possible) to flush your body because our bodies retain a lot around then.
Ohmygosh...

I've been seeing "TTOM" on this site for like, weeks now and haven't been able to figure it out, and I think it just got it.

Does it seriously mean "that time of the month?"

Wow, I'm fairly certain I'm an idiot.  :D
LOL awwww :)
I don't adjust anything, but I have noticed that no matter how good I am, by body won't let me lose and once until TTOM is over!
Someone posted not too long ago how their weight continued to go down the normal amount because they stuck with their normal calorie guidelines during TTOM. I think most women use TTOM as an excuse for lots of stuff, mainly overeating. (oh, myself included until recently)
I do not eat more calories during TTOM.  My period is not a time where I suddenly lose weight.  I do not think my body burns at a higher rate when I'm on my period.  The only thing I do differently is to up my water intake a little to fight water retention.  Other than that, I try to eat and exercise normally.
"TTOM" !!!!!! Priceless! Love it.
argh!  it's TTOM and all I want to do is EAT, preferably salt or chocolate.  trying to remind myself that I usually only have these cravings for one day, but ugh!  So frustrating because things have been going so well for me -- 12 lbs in 33 days!  I don't want my backside to backslide.
I don't change really change my eating or drinking habits during my time of the month, but I do try to pay attention to healthy cravings.  For some reason I crave onions during that time of the month.  As long as my cravings are healthy I humor them.  (and I usually eat a couple squares of dark chocolate too.)

I don't think it really matters that things in your body change a bit in terms of your caloric intake.  It all averages out.
