OK, this question may seem odd. But I have always wondered: if two women are the same height and one has much larger breasts, should she be expected to weigh more than the woman with smaller breasts? Or, to put it another way, how much do breasts weigh? If a woman has very small (32AA) breasts, is her healthy weight less than a woman who has, say, 36 C?

i would guess that a woman with larger breasts would weight a tad more - maybe 1 or 2 pounds?? i can't say that i've ever weighed my ladies on a scale though hahah. that doesn't mean i havn't tried. when i weighed more than i do now i had super big boobs and my friends and i used to joke about them all the time. we tried to weigh them but no reading came up on our scale. i can't believe i just told someone that!!! how embarassing hahaha. man the strange things we do for a laugh. what sparked this question by the way?
How funny - I was wondering about this the other day, but about implants.. they look so heavy, don't they? They look heavier than the homegrown variety, and I wondered how much that adds to the scale. I have no idea, though.
I'm not wondering for any sort of personal reason - just random curiosity. I'm quite happy with the pair I got from the manufacturer ;-)

I have breast implants and found NO difference in my weight.
Thanks mrssandy. My guess is it wouldn't make much difference ever then.
I've always just been curious about this, since I fall into the smaller category! ;) I did some more research and found that women who get breast reductions and lose 3 cup sizes lose about 4 pounds. So they don't weigh so much.....
I could never understand the type that gets the reduction done.
Reduction is often done when the breasts are so heavy that they cause back pain.
I got implants last spring-C-and the surgeon said they weighed 2 pounds.
I wish - heck even when I was at my heaviest 202 lbs I still hardly could fill an "A" cup -- do you know how impossible it is to get a "44 nearly A" bra - they don't exist!!!
The average breast weighs 5 pounds- that is a C-Cup.
I was a F/G & had surgery & went down to a D. I had just over 3 pounds taken off each side. Lets see.. how many sizes are between a D & a F? I think 3 sizes, so I think it equals 1 pound a size.
My conclusion is that each breast weighs one pound per cup size- without taking into effect the number.
Any thoughts on the number? Or does that not matter? Still a 36 before and after surgery.

If you are thinking about getting implants, go for it. I felt 100
percent better after my plastic surgery. And no one can tell they are
falsies!
Ditto I have NO regrets-I also got a pound of extra skin removed from my lower abdomen. While doing the abdomen they repaired my abdominal muscles which was great. Apparently when they separate during pregnancy (and mine did) if you do abdominal work-like crunches-it makes it worse. So you could do crunches 24/7 and not get 6 pack abs.
i was seriously considering getting a reduction a few years ago because i had really bad shoulder and back pain. after i lost about 50 lbs they got smaller and are now more in proportion with my body and my back has never felt better.
but now...now i feel a wee bit self-conscious around all my big busted girlfriends. first they were too big, now they're too small...ack!...i'm like frickin goldilocks! isn't that so true that we always want what we don't have.

umm.. this may sound strange, but...
With the aid of my boyfriend giving me "support" I figured out mine weighed close to 10 lbs when I was a D cup.
I don't think implants weigh as much as real ones though.
I think you can probably expect to weigh a tad more than someone with a smaller chest, but Probably no more than 2-3 lbs per size.
But, I'd have to say, don't compare yourself to others anyway. find the weight best for you.

I was wondering that too.
I have always been under an A cup, and I really watch my weight because I do not gain in my breasts, so I end up looking bottom heavy really fast.
I want to know if women with smaller breasts have a lower bodyfat percentage too! I mean I plug my height and weight in and I get like 25%, that can't be right, I have no fat at all on my chest :P.

I would have to say no to the original question only because If the smaller busted woman would weight less, then the larger busted gal would weigh more. right???
I had a very good friend in high school, she was the exact same height as myself, the same age, and she was barely an A cup. She weighed about 150 give or take. At the same time, I was a full D cup at about 110lbs. If the theory is true, I should have had the A cup, and she should have been the D, but genetics don't work that
At my lowest weight of 100lbs (as a gymnast) , my cup size was a full C, so for some people even if they have a ridiculously low weight, their boobs will decide not to shrink. It's all genetics.

old skinnier me: 8/9 b cup 120-125 lbs
right now : 8/9 d cup 130-135lbs
they make me feel fatter and the didnt shrink at all.
my back has started to hurt like my grams did too.
im too nervous about getting chopped up though.
that may change as the pack pain gets worse though.lol

I have indeed weighed mine!! I placed the scale on top of the washing machine flopped them on there and was shocked. I am a DDD on the verge of higher size but can't remember what a bra fitting gal told me over the summer..all's I know is they didn't have the letter I needed in stock!!! Mine weighed 13 lbs!!!! I was shocked. Not for sure how accurate that weight is but I can't figure out how else to weigh them.....So yes unless they start deflating with diet and excercise I will always be 13 lbs less then what the scale says that is my motivation!!! So right now I keep bouncing between 200-203 but in reality I am 190-193!!!! Now that is one way to look at it!!!..lol
Everyone I know who has had breast reduction surgery was thrilled with the results.
not necessarily. I'm 5'1", medium/large frame, muscular, 32 D/DD, yet i still weigh only ~110-113 pounds. my friend who is 5'6 and about 200 pounds is only a B. so, no.
